Go and supervise a road project k3k3—it has turned into something else. I fully agree with Eugene's post on why the military should be given the Accra–Kumasi Expressway project. The engineers and directors at the Ministry of Roads have given me real cause for concern.

Addressing newsmen after the inspection exercise, I expressed satisfaction with what Setraco Nig. Ltd. is doing on the Trans Warri/Ode Itsekiri Road project. At the Ayakoromor Bridge project, I frowned at the slow pace of work and directed the HCW highway & Urban Roads, the functioning PS of the Ministry of Works, the contractor, the Zonal Engineer, and the Site Engineer to be in my office next week for a follow up meeting on the project.
