I'd happily watch a whole episode consisting just of this scene on loop. Hell, I'd watch a whole season just of this scene on loop.

Out Where the Buses Don’t Run, the last 8-10 mins when Hank calls in, Crockett & Tubbs run in a thundering black Miami night to Dire Straits “Brothers In Arms” and finding the body. 💯💯💯

It was real, wasn't it? You're damned right it was.

I remember this scene and I wasn't yet a teenager. Absolute quality and probably the most iconic TV moment certainly of the 80s if not of all time. This and the arrival of the Visitor spacecraft in V remain unmatched. Even in this Golden Age of quality TV - nothing touches this

The drive at the end of Out Where the Buses Run is a close second if not tied with this one. The whole scene was one of the best in the entire show.

I would say “Smugglers Blues” was another great episode.

And set a bar that's yet to be approached in my opinion.

Ferrari Daytona driving, Versace jacket wearing cops are just super 80s cool…
