going back to mirage after trying a new map:

I don't care what people say, I like playing mirage, I like watching mirage. Bread and butter CS. Long after im dead they'll be peeling my ancient skeleton from my keyboard and mouse logged into xplay mirage retakes

My hot take is that the map pool needs a massive shakeup and not only does that include removing mirage from it but also introducing maps with less traditional 3 lane layouts like vertigo and train. Ideal map pool would be -dust2 -overpass -train -nuke -cache -vertigo -anubis

Counter strike is lame because the playerbase only wants to play on the same 5 matchmaking maps for 20 years. They dont want to play any new maps because theyre cowards

Short term breaths of fresh air aside, the problem with mirage isn’t whether it’s good or bad, it’s that it’s stale. It’s just a fact, bound to happen after not receiving any sort of visual update after 14 or so years of being in the game.

Make it so each team can only ban 1 map each and then it randomly just picks a map that’s left in the pool.
