Peter Obi is a big liar! He said the ESN was formed by the government of the Eastern states. It was IPOB that formed the Eastern Security Network (ESN), not the governments of the Eastern states. Here is the clear breakdown: • ESN was announced and launched by Nnamdi Kanu in December 2020. • It was created as the armed wing of IPOB. • No governor in the Southeast endorsed or participated in its formation. • In fact, the Southeast governors publicly distanced themselves from ESN and instead pushed their own joint security idea (which later became Ebubeagu).
