Rooftop solar funded by Great British Energy is cutting energy bills for schools and hospitals right across the country. Putting more money back into the frontline services that communities rely on. 🌹That’s the difference this Labour government is making.

JD Vance: "There's a lot of emergency healthcare at hospitals that are provided to illegal aliens. That was funded by the federal government. We turned off that funding because of course we want American citizens to benefit from those hospital services, not to be taxed and then have those hospital services go to illegal aliens."

The NHS will survive so long as there are people willing to fight for it. In Islington North, we will always defend a health service that is fully-public, fully-funded and free at the point of use.

#WATCH | Hisar: The Haryana unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has written to the state government regarding the withdrawal of services by Ayushman empanelled hospitals from August 7, 2025, due to non-payment of dues. Former Haryana IMA President Dr Ajay Mahajan says, " For the last two years, we have been repeatedly facing the problem that our payments get stopped. Due to this, the hospitals also lack the financial resources to make their payments. The hospitals have to make immediate payments to their doctors, their staff, their vendors, but the government is making these payments after three months, four months, six months and even then, it makes unwanted deductions. Due to this, a huge financial burden has fallen on the hospitals. Due to this, the hospitals have decided to request the government to pay all the dues till 15th July by 7th August, otherwise we will not be able to provide further services... Now, after giving our notice, the government says that we have sanctioned Rs 310 crores, but that sanctioning and getting the money will take time. We have about 650 to 700 hospitals, which are private sector hospitals, that were providing their services to the government under Ayushman Bharat. Now, because the debt burden on them has increased, they are unable to provide their services further. We have requested the government that all the payments till 15th July should be made by the 7th so that the hospital can run smoothly..."

Currently, Floridians have to pay a fee to the government just to be able to keep their home. This is wrong. I agree with the Governor that we should eliminate homestead property taxes. We also must ensure key local government services are fully-funded and remain operational.

🚨 BREAKING: In an incredible development, Speaker Johnson is aggressively pushing to SWIPE the government shutdown weapon from Chuck Schumer's hands by ensuring the troops, air traffic control, TSA and essential services are FUNDED fully by January. "The goal is all 12 [Appropriations bills]." "Everything would be funded. Troops, essential services would be OFF the table. Air traffic control...wouldn't have to be stressed out!" "We're working for the next package." GOOD, Speaker Mike Johnson! Don't let them inflict any more pain!

We will scrap the Multicultural Minister and the Office for Multiculturalism. We will not pursue an approach to governing that promotes separating our communities, which is exactly what multiculturalism does. In keeping with this, we will also cease funding government-funded translation services. The English language is the glue that binds our society together. If you do not speak English, under no circumstances should you be able to settle in Australia. Translation services indulge the view that not speaking English is a perfectly legitimate decision, which it isn’t if you want to permanently settle here. Far from helping integration, translation services that are extensively funded by the government are a barrier to effective integration.

I visited West Suffolk hospital which will be rebuilt as part of the New Hospital Programme. It is one of 7 hospitals that has defective concrete that will be reconstructed - funded with over £20 billion. And we will deliver 40 new hospitals by 2030 ⬇️
