Do you think they are waiting for more data to make it available? I can't see the interest Google would have in keeping those for themselves..

my assumption, it's the same reason they haven't allowed us to see AI Overview data in GSC: sharing the data would show site owners that AI Mode is dramatically reducing the clicks their websites receive from search i don't think they want the extra scrutiny and outcry when they're already under lots of pressure from the DOJ trial, antitrust cases, etc strengthens the narrative of Google being a monopoly with unilateral power

this may be a case where site infrastructure will be more important than design as things move forward.
