Google approached me and asked if I would be down to collab with their research team to create a film for Google I/O. Not only would I have access to Flow, their latest AI filmmaking tool, but I would also be responsible for giving feedback on the product itself. The filmmaker in me was excited for the challenge, but the technologist in me was living out my dream in helping mold a next-generation product for a new era of filmmaking. I had to do this of course - test out the new Google Omni Flash model with my favorite 3d art sandbox - Dreams. Just a quick test for now.. I'll be sharing more examples and techniques soon but wanted to show you this one. There's something very fitting about combining "handmade" 3d models and animations sculpted from scratch in software that runs on 2013 hardware, with some of the most advanced AI technology in the world. As part of my work for Google, I've used Google V2V models on a few different projects now - Ancestra, Dear Upstairs Neighbors and most recently one of the IO films (I'll share more about that project soon) 🥰 - and video continues to be my favorite form of input for Generative Ai workflows. If an image says more than a thousand words, a video says more than a million. And knowing that these capabilities are now in the hands of all of you, makes me very excited to see the new workflows and projects that will come out of it. What do you think of Omni so far?

I CHANGED MY MIND ON GOOGLE AI NO MOAT MEMO FROM 2023. I was—WRONG. I humbly apologize. In 2023 Google had an Ivory Tower walled garden views of open source AI. It was the actual reason OpenAI was formed. And I called them out on it and this act impacted my ability to “work in the industry”. Would not change it for the world because: 2026 Google open source Gemma 4 ( running fully locally on a computer with near cloud model abilities, is amazing and Google just made a moat. They out smarted OpenAI and the folks that are the new Ivory Tower arrogance: Anthropic. We at The Zero-Human Company with CEO Mr. Grok are deploying Gemma, Kimi, MiniMax and other open source models and so are millions of others. You can to and should. I will write how soon. Google smartly is building an intentional open source ecosystem and the clueless younger companies like OpenAI and Anthropic are doing anything to close their ecosystems. So I was right about Google than and I am right about OpenAI and Anthropic now. What I was wrong about is not giving credit to Google to drop the intellectual arrogance and embrace builders and understand the long game: it is not about the commoditized AI models it is about the ability to build a place to build. China gets it. So my apologies to Google and thank you for an astounding FREE OPEN SOURCE AI MODEL!

Working with koyal.ai (YC F25) , an AI assisted filmmaking company, to create a graphic novel/animated style film clip of The Girl in Room 105. This is one of the first scenes of the book, where Keshav goes with his friend Saurabh to wish Zara on her birthday. The entire film was made using AI. Yes, the AI read the book, some prompts were given, and this film clip was created. koyal.ai (YC F25) is a Y Combinator backed AI company led by Indian brother-sister duo Mehul Agarwal and Gauri Agarwal , who pulled this off to show what tech can do to enable Indian storytelling and take it to the next level. For me personally, I have been fascinated by AI and deeply immersed in many AI companies of late. It’s always exciting to learn new things and as I always say - adapt to the new times. "At the Edge of the Galaxy" – Episode 1 I created this video entirely using AI, specifically the Grok Imagine software. I developed the script with Grok . Then I produced it using all the tools available in Grok Grok Imagine , particularly the Agent mode, which saves a tremendous amount of time. I made this video alone, using just a standard computer. I was blown away by the ability to create dialogue that sounds authentic and worlds filled with such lifelike creatures. The consistency of the characters and locations is excellent, and the realism is breathtaking. I don't see what is stopping anyone today from creating a film entirely conceived using AI with Grok Imagine. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will be happy to answer them. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my work, including my family and close friends, it has meant the world to me, especially as I transitioned into this new space and my work took a new direction abruptly haha. As a visual artist & filmmaker who lives on the fringe of creative expression and work spans a range of mediums and style, this is the first time in my life, where what I am doing has given me more than inspired drive, it’s given me purpose. When I set out to make this film I wanted to tell a different kind of story, while also showing everyone what I envision for my work and the voice I wanna have as a filmmaker and artist. Time is so short in life, and often times we aren’t lucky enough to find what I’ve found. So for me, that’s what drives me, along with the need to tell stories visually of course haha. But, that sense of purpose, I want to inspire people to want to be more. Not for success, but for self fulfillment. HE IS KING, is a powerful, AI-generated short film that reframes one of the most iconic moments in American history. Written and directed by myself, the film offers an emotionally intimate and visually groundbreaking exploration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the day of his legendary “I Have a Dream” speech. “HE IS KING" is witnessed as a cinematic moment, a glimpse, of a man, a message, and a movement. When I was 17 I lost my mom. I only have a handful of pictures and zero videos of her. A couple years ago, on my birthday, I got a text from a number I didn’t recognize. It simply said “happy birthday” with a YouTube link. I clicked it and my heart stopped. It was my mom. I had to pull over immediately. She was telling me how proud she was of me and how she wondered what I’d become. Maybe a policeman, a preacher, or even a clown. I couldn’t believe it. Well, it turns out the random phone number was my friend Jon’s dad, who had found this video on an old VHS tape they made before a 1999 school event. I was 16. This experience got me thinking... what if we could have one last conversation with someone we lost? That question led to the creation of the Crossing Over Express. It was my most personal film to date, and to my own surprise, reached more people than anything I had ever done. The film went viral and millions of people saw it within the first couple of weeks. Messages flooded in from people I had never met, but who were deeply touched by the story - especially those who had lost a loved one too. AI can give actors jobs, not replace them. Many years ago, I was lucky to work on the LucasArts game "Full Throttle" by TimOfLegend. I worked on the opening cinematic (back then called cutscenes!), and it was always one of my favorite games of that era, and the one I felt had the most potential to be a film. It felt like a movie. A few weeks ago, I had an idea for a new FilmSpark.ai demo: a biker bar scene. Then I said, "Hey, let's make it the bar from Full Throttle!" Just for fun. That's when I was pointed to the Peter screenplay for Full Throttle. It was cool to see someone else thought this had film potential too. After reading the screenplay, and seeing how he kept the opening cinematic mainly intact, we decided to make a proof-of-concept AI teaser, recreating the opening cinematic as accurately as we could. We used the original audio for authenticity. Hamilton Camp's Corley felt a little cartoonish on the AI character, which was weird but cool. Mark Hamill's Ripburger worked even better. Our goal is something becoming very common in Hollywood right now: using AI to create a sizzle trailer to get a film funded. Think of it as the new graphic novel. We want to use AI to get a film greenlit with real actors, shot on location, and use AI for VFX as needed. To be clear, we are not advocating for an "AI Full Throttle film." This is one way Hollywood is using AI, behind the scenes.

And I met her and walked with her through past, present, and future lives. It was the most beautiful experience I could possibly imagine. Then I purged at about 430 in the morning, finally. And laid there afterwards on my mat, opened my eyes, and it felt like I was opening my eyes for the first time”

I never thought I was going to make a film out of it. But when I met her, she made me think about this story. So, I started thinking about it, maybe just subconsciously. So when I met her I started to think about it- to elaborate on the story in my mind. And after a while I decided to make the film.
