got a ct scan and imported the image slices into blender to construct a volumetric representation of my Freaky Neck Bones oh and also i can do a density sweep that's cool

what the heck that's so cool

I Need the tutorial to this

Decided to do some MRI+CT fusion to get bone and flesh together. Kinda sounds like a satanic ritual when I put it that way....

thats cool and fun i love a good ivoric sinew construct

open source it lol I think my biggest challenge would get the scans they did of my since they didn't provide any images, I only have access to some online previewer w/ scuffed controls and no option to download all images with different values

i found a tutorial online its quite easy

Actually dope! THIS is the shit I wanna see. Not some other AI slop.

Do you know if it would be possible to get the source sequence of X-ray images, rather than the resulting voxel reconstruction ? Colleagues working in the field told me it should be possible to improve quality if you know better sampling target locations than a grid (eg, surface)

i made this volume out of the 411 slice images i got from the place

parallel slice images (= reconstruction result) ? or native sensor data (angular views) ?

i got a 411 cross section images in some raw proprietary format and software to view and convert the raw data into tifs or jpgs, i chose tif and renamed the slice format from SCAN 0001.tif to SCAN.1001.tif so that blender interprets it as UDIM tiles

sorry, not native english speaker here. "cross section image" = all parallel ? (possible confusion with X-ray wise cross-section).

yes they are all parallel

Heal me, Blender.

@Cartesian_C check this out

Looking good.

180° rotation

this is so cool would it be weird if i asked for your ct scan 🤣🤣🤣

Excuse me, wHat?! Impressive.

Could you share the blend file. I just had one done and was thinking about doing the same.

I still have the ct scan images of my 80% herniated intrathoracic stomach handy.... do I dare...

your choice to make things

I like the way ur brain works
