My albums called “Eldora”. Wrote all the songs in a cabin in Colorado and didn’t overthink it. Recorded every song we wrote that week, and I believe it’s the best album I’ve ever made. A lot of western themes in it, sad songs, happy as hell songs, and story songs. Putting it out on my birthday 9/19 while I’m floating a river in Montana. I love yall, and can’t wait to share this whole album with you. Circa 1943 out tonight, my personal favorite on the whole album. I hope yall love it as much as I loved making it🙏🏼

“I got in the car and we were talking (about earlier encore) and I was looking back at it then suddenly it kind of hit me emotionally, like “wow” and tears started coming up. so I tried to hold it back and stop myself from crying, but it didn’t work, because honestly… there were times when things were really hard, and we really worked so hard. so moments like this feel kind of rewarding somehow, and it also became a chance for me to reflect again. honestly, it wasn’t just us alone, everyone, and the staff around us too, we all created this together. 🦌 “what’s that scar?” ask shim ricky about it…. i got it while messing around with shim ricky, i was playing around with shim ricky and i ended up with a scar… yeah… we were playing tag, and i ran into something. i crashed into it, and it hurt, so i was like, “ah..!!” so he was like, “qubing… are you okay?” i was like, “no, i ran into it myself so it’s okay~” so he was like, “i’m sorry… that looks really painful…” and i was like, “no, it's fine~” then on kakaotalk… it was night back then, and when i went into the room and saw it under the light and it looked pretty serious… so i texted him, “hey ricky, i think this is pretty bad…” and he went “oh.. i’m sorry…” and i told him “i’m joking!” … HAHAHA… that’s what happened

⭐️: Why is my face so puffy? I stayed up all night yesterday.. well actually, yesterday I woke up and.. I had gone to bed at 3AM, you know? But when I opened my eyes it was already 2PM. I normally can’t sleep more than six hours but this time I slept for eleven (hours)… And then I went about my day and last night I laid down to sleep at around 2AM but I just couldn’t fall asleep. And then.. I got hungry so at 6AM I had a cup of instant ramen ㅎㅎ and two donuts. Then I went to sleep and when I woke up it was already 1PM. And now I’ve ordered food and I’m waiting for it to arrive. Here it’s 3PM and right now.. right now I’m peak scruffy #SEONGHWA #성화

🧸 i got an ache all over my body and i got it while i had a cold so in the middle of the night, my body started heating up a lot so i would keep waking up and checking if i was okay but when i couldn’t do it anymore, i asked if anybody had medicines on our group chat 🧸 soobin hyung was in the living room at the time and he got so many medicines for me and explained it to me like “take this! eat this one! if you eat this one, you’ll feel better, this one will make you feel better” 🧸 he got me medicines and stood me up but i suddenly started sobbing so soobin hyung hugged me and i really cried a lot 🧸 then when i laid back down and tried to sleep, soobin hyung wiped my body down with a wet towel and even patted my head/straightened out my hair 🧸 he kept doing that….i don’t know how much time passed but he just kept doing that 🧸 so the next day soobin hyung asked me “do you remember what happened last night?” and as a manly man from gyeongsang province 🤣 it would’ve been embarassing for me to say i remembered it so i said “hyung, i don’t remember yesterday…i don’t remember what happened yesterday” 🧸 but i actually remembered everything 🧸 he’s very reliable

The ‘Survive’ EP is out today and along with it the last song ‘The Day That I Die’. This is a tune I wrote about the lowest I’ve felt in my life and truth be told it feels a bit weird putting it out there for people to hear but I’m honestly the proudest I’ve ever been about a song with this one. It’s been an absolute pleasure being back releasing music and playing shows the last six months and I’m honestly so pleased to say I feel so far removed from the place I was when I wrote this song. One Sunday afternoon, I was sitting at home. Phil was at the airport. He texted me “Hey… I have this idea for a bridge! Tell me what you think!” He sent a mumbly voice memo, with airport announcements in the background… but I still got chills as I listened. I knew it was special and could hear exactly where it was heading. I was so excited, I threw the mumbly voice memo onto my computer and started building a huge track around it… this is exactly what the song needed. A few months later, we were filming this song with a huge orchestra and choir… and it was SO POWERFUL and energetic in that room! So thankful for this collaboration!

🐶 today was a day where I had the opportunity do the first pitch for lotte giants at sajik baseball stadium but! as soon as we arrived in busan, the rain wasn’t stopping so it got cancelled.. and hyunjin and iyen came to support but.. even so! we did this and that~ it was a good experience 🥟 ah right! I got to see seungmin’s smile that he can’t hide a lot so.. 🦊 that’s right 🐶 I/we got to play catchball with the players

🧸 “how do you feel after getting lasik? is it good?” i’ll tell you guys this! before i got my tonsillectomy, i looked up a lot of vlogs and…a majority of people said that they felt like they were going to die so i was really worried before the surgery but i’m tolerant to pain so it was better than i excepted…my mom always made porridge for me so i ate that well too, ate it for every meal, took my medicines and left the humidifier on so…of course it hurt a bit because i got surgery but it wasn’t that bad 🧸 but after i got my lasik eye surgery, my eyes and nose were running for 6 hours straight and you know how your eyes really hurt when you make eye contact with the sun…like you tear up and your eyes hurt…it was that feeling for 6 hours straight like even if i had my eyes closed, it felt like the sunlight was inside my eyes and i was fighting it for 6 hours straight 🧸 so for the tonsillectomy, i couldn’t eat what i wanted and i couldn’t talk so that discomfort was the thing that was hard…it didn’t hurt but for the lasik eye surgery, my eyes really hurt a lot! the really fascinating thing though is that i was like “mom, this is so hard!!” for 6 hours and then i got tired of it so i fell asleep and when i woke up after 3 hours, i could see the world really well, i was fascinated and was like “mom!! it doesn’t hurt at all anymore and i can see things very well!!”

Alright guys I think I got it!!! It's just a blueprint with a light function and colour curves for more control. It took a few days of brewing in my head but 15 minutes to build. I'll clean it up and make it free with Reverie.

spoiler about the new songs!!! 🐹: ah seriously, the new song.. it's a mini album but.. among these songs, there are 3 songs that i.. all of the songs are great, but these 3 songs especially, including the title track, will be xdiz's bangers once again, great enough that you'd want to keep listening to them. also, if i were to brag about something, it's been a while since "fire", i think.. at least i don’t remember having any since then. but for the first time in a while, two songs that i wrote the lyrics for are included. so i feel even more attached to this album. especially one of those two songs, i worked really hard on it, revising it a lot. i put a lot of effort and care into the lyrics. personally, i already love the song itself, and since the final result came out as well as the amount of effort i put into it, i feel even more attached to it.

Oh that’s why he mentioned it during the live from March 3rd😕 🦊 From after No Labels Part 1 ended, through awards season up until now… it honestly has been pretty hard. I’ve kind of been struggling the whole time 🦊 How should I say this… I had burnout come and go a few times and these days I’ve had a lot of worries and a lot on my mind but my thoughts wouldn’t organize themselves, that’s why I’ve been talking with a lot of people and listening to them and while doing that, I’ve been sorting out my thoughts little by little. I’ve also been facing parts of myself that I used to avoid or couldn’t look at 🦊 While doing that, I feel like these days I’m recovering little by little in a healthier and cooler way and since I know that this kind of pain can also be meaningful, in a way it feels like a positive kind of pain so I think it’s okay 🦊 If I get the chance, I’d like to talk about it in more detail someday 🦊 Anyway, those are the thoughts I’ve had
