Lebron on what it takes to play for as long as he has at a high level that the average fan may not understand: "It starts way before you get on the floor. They see us once the game is going the popcorn's been popped and the lights are brighter. It takes so much more like sacrifice and discipline and things over the course if you want to be really great at this and if you want to do it for a long period of time. It's so many hours that you got to commit to it. There's so many things that you maybe want to do that you can't if you want to be great but everybody's journey is different. I'm just speaking from my journey but I do think that the game gives back to the ones who put the time in and commit to the game. That's just the game God's rewarding and we don't cheat the process"

John McTiernan on how he learnt moviemaking by watching 'Day for Night' (1972): "I remember when I decided that that's what I was going to do. I went about it like it was reverse engineering. I knew that I had to go and learn what a movie was, not just my experience of going and watching a movie. So I went and sat in Truffaut's Day for Night (1972), watched it for three days straight, eight hours at a time and memorized it shot-for-shot. I got past the story, all the original and secondary experience, so I could study what it was that I was really watching. Film is really sort of a chain that's really linear. Yet when it's all strung together, it just sort of feels like an experience. It takes quite a while to be able to deconstruct that experience to figure out what you really saw."
