I spent 48 hours running AI from my phone. Here are 11 things that turned out to be possible and 3 that almost cost me money Forgot my laptop at home and thought the day was lost. Opened a terminal from my phone and decided to see how long I could last Lasted 2 days. Not just lasted but made $840 What works from a phone: 1. Set up Claude Code through SSH in 10 minutes while riding the subway 2. Get Telegram pushes every time a wallet enters a position 3. Copy a trade with 1 tap without taking out my earbuds 4. Launch scripts by voice through Shortcuts 5. Monitor 3 wallets simultaneously without a single lag 6. Get a morning report at 7 AM as a regular message 7. Rebuild the bot when it crashed while sitting in a cab 8. Check PnL without opening a browser 9. Add a new wallet to tracking in 30 seconds 10. Set up auto-copying without confirmation on verified wallets 11. Get a full strategy breakdown of a wallet through Claude Code in a regular chat And here is what almost killed the deposit: 1. From a factory worker to a full-stack developer in 1.5 years of grind. I’m not saying this to flex. Mentally draining. I had dropped out of college because of financial issues. This felt like the end of the road. A friend told me: “Try learning to code.” I saved whatever money I could. Took some help from my parents. Bought a laptop. Quit the factory job. For a while, the internet became my university. I kept remembering something Elon Musk once said: “Everything you need to learn is available on the internet for free.” I used that line like a rule. HTML, CSS, JavaScript one month. Then React. No fancy courses. Just docs, projects, and breaking things. Got my first internship. Struggled. Learned. Improved. After 4 months, I pushed harder: – Deep React (no tutorial hopping) – Backend basics – Some DSA That grind got me a full-stack role at a US-based company (onsite in Bhopal). Frank was in his element cracking jokes and talking baseball with the fellas ◦Everyone was incredibly welcoming, humble, and fun. The Diamondbacks manager, Torey Lovullo, called Frank a fucking legend ◦We crushed walk 277 circling the field pregame as Frank tracked the Mets game ◦11:30: Practiced the first pitch. We needed to loosen up the cannon more than we did in Milwaukee ◦12: Took a little break behind the dugout for Frank to mentally prepare for pitch ◦12:40: Mets tied it up ◦12:43: Frank broke into a dance-off with the mascots ◦12:45: Frank walked out for yet another Ceremonial First Pitch at an MLB game. For 6 months I woke up at 5 AM to catch Asian markets on Polymarket. During that time I lost my girlfriend, gained 8 kg, and got used to drinking coffee instead of breakfast Then I wrote an agent that monitors everything for me while I sleep. In the 1st month income went up 15% and I finally deleted the 5 AM alarm Turns out a half-asleep human trades worse than a 200-line script I thought discipline meant waking up early. In reality it was just stubbornness that cost me money and health. When I finally sat down to build the agent it became clear why Here is what is under the hood: 1. Sentiment analysis powered by Claude. Every 15 minutes the agent runs a feed from 40+ Asian sources: Reuters Asia, Nikkei, South China Morning Post, Yonhap 2. NLP tone classification. It compares sentiment shifts to open markets on Polymarket through the API, and if the news has already dropped but the odds have not reacted yet that is the entry window 3. Kelly criterion. A mathematical formula for position sizing instead of my usual "I will bet more, feeling lucky" 4. A hard stop at 5% of the deposit per trade so that 1 mistake cannot kill the entire account 5. A cooldown between entries so the agent does not stack up a cluster of correlated positions These are exactly the rules I was missing at 5 AM. I knew them perfectly well but consistently ignored them because on adrenaline and caffeine every bet felt like an "obvious opportunity" When I ran a backtest on my old trades it was genuinely painful: 60% of the bets I placed by hand in a half-asleep state would have been rejected by the agent for failing the expected value filter Those were the exact ones dragging the whole result down When I was building my agent I needed a benchmark. A wallet that already trades on similar logic so I could compare my results to someone else's Found 1 that works almost like a mirror of what I described: same Asian markets, same cold calculation without emotion. Yesterday at 3 AM Claude Code called me I woke up, picked up the phone, and on the screen was a message: "Wallet entered BTC Up at 11 cents. Open Polymarket?" I said yes and went back to sleep Claude Code unlocked my 2nd phone on its own, opened Polymarket, found the right market, entered the amount, and hit Buy. I could see all of it in real time through the web interface on my laptop. Screenshots from the phone updating every second. By morning the position closed in profit Let me tell you how I got here A week ago I asked Claude Code to write a script that pulls on-chain data from Polymarket and ranks wallets by win rate on 15-minute BTC markets In 20 minutes I had a table with hundreds of addresses, and 1 of them stood apart from the rest. More than 200 trades per day, surgical entry precision, and a profit curve going straight up I fed that address back into Claude Code and asked it to break down the strategy. Turns out the wallet monitors BTC volatility on Binance and Bybit every 100 milliseconds, and when it drops below 0.08% it enters Up and Down simultaneously at 25 to 35 cents A pure straddle: 1 side burns and the other flies to a dollar, giving 3 to 4x per position. Dozens of times a day I wanted to follow it but signals came at any hour, and waking up every 15 minutes for a notification was simply impossible. So I built something else Took an old Android phone and installed an agent running on the Qwen3-VL visual model. It sees what is happening on the screen and mimics human actions through ADB: taps, swipes, text input. Then I connected it to Claude Code as the executor Now the chain works like this: Claude Code monitors the wallet, sees a new position, calls me. And if I say "yes" or just do not pick up within 30 seconds, the agent on the phone opens Polymarket on its own and copies the entry Essentially I built myself an autopilot out of 2 AI systems: 1 thinks and the other presses buttons. I just sleep and occasionally pick up the phone → Here is the wallet the whole thing is tracking: For those who do not want to build a setup like this there is a Telegram bot that handles the 1st part: tracks this wallet and sends a signal on every new entry: AI calls me at 3 AM to ask permission to spend my money A year ago this would have sounded like schizophrenia. Last Thursday I was having dinner with a friend at a regular shawarma spot near the subway. A guy he knew was sitting with us. Around 21, maybe 22. Hoodie, AirPods, beat-up backpack When the check came he grabbed it without a word. No discussion. Just tapped his phone and paid for all 3 of us My friend was not even surprised. Apparently this was not the first time I asked: what do you do? He said: "I copy wallets on Polymarket" I thought it was a joke. Or some trading guru with a $500 course But he explained it simpler than I expected "On Polymarket there are wallets that are consistently in profit. Not on 1 bet but on dozens in a row. I do not try to guess who wins the election or what the weather will be in Dallas. I just look at what a wallet with a 70+ win rate is doing and repeat it" He did not build models. Did not write scripts. Did not analyze news He opened Telegram and showed me a channel. Simple messages: wallet X entered position Y, price Z cents, market such and such Then he opened Polymarket and showed me his balance I am not going to name the exact number because he did not ask for that. But I will say this: it is enough for a guy in a rented apartment with 3 roommates to casually pay for dinner for 3 and not think twice I asked: "How did you figure out which wallet to follow?" He shrugged "That is the easiest part. Polymarket is blockchain. All trades are open. You go to the leaderboard, filter by win rate, look at history. If a wallet consistently enters positions at 3 to 8 cents and closes at a dollar that is not luck. That is an information edge" Then he added something that made me freeze "The funniest part is I do not even need to understand why he bets. I do not know where he gets his information. Maybe he is an insider. Maybe he has a model. Maybe he just reads news faster. I do not care. I see that he entered and I enter a minute later. 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒕 𝑹𝑨𝑰𝑵𝑺 𝒊𝒕 𝑷𝑶𝑼𝑹𝑺⛑️ 𝐺𝑢𝑎𝑟𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑛 𝐴𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑙~𝑃𝑎𝑟𝑡 2 😇🙏 After a botched summer assignment to a new collegiate league in Texarkana, TX that saw Grant Scholzen sleeping in his car and no host family provided as promised, Grant came home and waited patiently for a summer league call. The MGF Marshalls (who by the way is one of the best run orgs in the country, more on that in a future post!) called and in his 1st game and 2nd AB with a 1-2 count in a left on left matchup with the shadows in play, Grant took a 92 mph FB off the shoulder and into the right side of his face. The only time in 5 years w/o a face shield on his helmet, it’s the only time he’s been hit above the shoulder. Was watching the game on live stream, and it was hard to tell where it actually hit him? Grant immediately started walking to the dugout and I couldn’t figure out why he was doing that, because he should be either staying at home plate gathering his bearings or going to 1B. What you don’t see is the catcher and pitcher who are close friends of Grant’s growing up facing each other in HS and teammates throughout their CBA summer/fall travel ball experiences, looking on with what just happened? The pitcher and catcher who I’m close with as well, are in shock and the pitcher then walks into the opposing dugout to see if Grant is okay? Grant was okay, but he wasn’t okay?! That helpless feeling again when you’re not there and your son has something almost tragic happen?! I was calling friends who I knew were at the game and they said he had ice on his cheek in the dugout. After the game Grant was going to drive 4 hours home and get home at 3am to attend his cousin’s church service to listen to him speak at his 2 year church missionary farewell. He got home late as I said and woke up yesterday with his face extremely swollen and his eye already black, so we saw his uncle at church, who is a pediatric dentist and he scheduled a CT Scan with an oral surgeon buddy. Grant went in this morning for the scan and to our surprise, NO broken bones. Thank you to the countless people who text and reached out with worry and wanting updates. The baseball circle is small, but big at the same time and is a comforter! Once again his mother Heidi was working overtime to protect her kids, just like my daughter’s car accident 3 weeks ago. When it rains it pours! #SwarmingBees 🐝

The ATG School One-Pager I’m not trying to reinvent schooling. There are just a handful of things I believe in which I haven’t seen in any school I’ve been around as a student or parent. Policy #1: Each student gets to be responsible for growing some of their own food, no matter how small, and THROUGHOUT schooling (not just a quickie project here or there). Policy #2: Minimum 1:1 ratio of time NOT SITTING IN THE CLASSROOM. What you do with this is up to you. There are so many real world skills, sports, gardening, music, etc. The strict ratio in the school day is the key for me. Common sense and personal interests can take it from there. Policy #3: Daily time to read whatever you want to read about. The biggest barrier for my reading was INTEREST. Be there to ensure the book is at their level, and to help them if they don’t understand something. Other than that, LET THEM ENJOY READING, ALL THE WAY THROUGH SCHOOL, not just in early years. Policy #4: (This is the most unusual yet the biggest reason I’m in education.) High school is a 50/50 bridge to winning in real life. Mornings are for actual work, making and SAVING UP MONEY. Afternoons are for learning finances and professional skills of YOUR INTEREST. With average work, you’ll finish school with $50,000-$100,000 in the bank, more skills than the norm, and a greater chance of creating your life and work from there on out, rather than conforming to make a paycheck. Policy #5: As part of the high school 50/50 system, ensure each student learns the adult financial red tape in your state/country before you’ve got bills, kids, etc.

Policy #4: (This is the most unusual yet the biggest reason I’m in education.) High school is a 50/50 bridge to winning in real life. Mornings are for actual work, making and SAVING UP MONEY. Afternoons are for learning finances and professional skills of YOUR INTEREST. With average work, you’ll finish school with $50,000-$100,000 in the bank, more skills than the norm, and a greater chance of creating your life and work from there on out, rather than conforming to make a paycheck. LEARN SPANISH QUICK huevones I think I have some credibility here, here’s some vids from my IG narrating at one of my jobsites; I run my company comms entirely in Spanish and probably speak an equal amount of English/Spanish in my day to day. I’m terrible compared to a native speaker but better than most gringos Here are some things that helped/help me, YMMV 1. Get your head right: -you have to adopt an extreme beginner’s mindset and be okay feeling and sounding like an idiot. You can’t learn without putting yourself out there, you won’t be able to rewire your brain otherwise 2. Related to point 1 - humor helps A TON. If you’re going to sound like an idiot, lean into it - you want people to bust your balls. Learn to joke and make people laugh (learning swear words and local idioms is a great way to do this) 3. Make it clear you want and welcome correction. Make it safe for people to make fun of you, repeatedly ask for feedback (“soy gringo menso, ayúdame por favor 🙏🏻”) 4. Once you lay that groundwork, here’s your first cheat code: pick a book like Harry Potter (something with a lot of dialogue) and get the physical book and audiobook. Carve out 15-30 mins/day to do the following: listen to 2-3 sentences, and then read the same segment OUT LOUD (en voz alta) and repeat. You’ll get a sense for where your accent needs tweaking. Pay attention to how your mouth feels: what shape does it take, what physical space do the words occupy etc, Do this every day, no excuses, no off days. Repetition breeds familiarity. 5. Find a practice buddy - if you’re single, dating apps are great for this (don’t cancel me for this, there’s no greater forcing function to modify behavior than romance) or if that’s not for you, use an online service to find a convo buddy (via WhatsApp/facetime). Again, you gotta put yourself out there and be ok sounding/feeling dumb. 6. Do an English “fast” and put yourself in an environment with lots of speaking opportunities (eg take a 1 week vacation to CDMX and sign up for a bunch of tours and events away from English speakers). 1 week minimum, ideally 2. No English means no English. No calling or texting back home and breaking your fast. That’ll get you started. You can’t learn to speak without speaking. Reading and listening, IMO, sit in a far distant second place in the learning hierarchy Other stuff that wasn’t around when I started learning but that seems promising to me: 1. Duolingo - just kidding, this doesn’t seem to help anyone 2. Instagram accounts - like Maddie’s Mundo - for me the key here would be verbally repeating the stuff you see in the videos, NOT passively consuming them. Just like the audiobook hack: watch a video, verbally mimic it, watch again, copy it again, repeat repeat repeat 3. AI - I’m seeing some AI products that seem to allow you to have interactive verbal conversations. Seems very promising I’ll post some links and stuff below. Any other tips? CHENGDU TRIP REPORT: First-hand observations did confirm that infrastructure and technology advancements in China are moving at an extreme rate. What we noticed in Chengdu: 1) Big clean subways comparable to Seoul or Tokyo, 2) Ruler-level super-wide roads and highways, 3) Alipay has revolutionized buying stuff and is way easier than say the Korean cashless systems, 4) Air pollution was not really a noticeable thing, 5) Overall, things are just built smart and pragmatically for widespread use by the common people. As far as social technology, same fun and safe vibe as elsewhere across East Asia, thanks to thousands of years of Confucian social science on how to cultivate good people and harmonious society. Regarding Alipay/WeChat: This was the only truly shocking thing, as I had not read reports covering the full implications of this. It really changes everything. Now we don’t need lines, menus, verbal orders, credit cards, kiosks, account numbers, wires, or receipts. That whole annoying process just got annihilated, and this all seems to have happened since my 2018 trip to Shanghai!? For everything you just scan your phone, menus come up in your phone, select taxis destinations in your phone, all data and proof of purchases are in your phone. But, like morons, we kept walking up to counters and staring like “where is the menu,” and they are staring at us alike “why are you standing here” and we are thinking like “is this even a coffee shop?” Habits. Okay, total process change! Now just walk in and sit down, menu comes up on your phone, select items and click pay, they bring, then you walk out. With taxis, subways, busses, movies, shopping, friends, it just makes everything so much more efficient and solves many long-standing problems… honestly have not yet fully mentally processed this.
