Tomorrow, the Houston City Council will meet to decide whether to rescind the policy. In an interview w/ Daily Wire, Abbott said if Houston digs in their heels, "they forfeit the money" and must "repay to the state every single dollar they have received." "As President Trump sometimes says, they have no cards. We have all the cards in this, and they are going to lose, and they're not going to be able to balance their budget."

A “No Kings” protest is underway at Dallas City Hall. I’m covering the protest and here are notes after speaking with the lead organizer… • Indivisible Dallas is organizing today’s protest. It’s part of a national organization — Indivisible — founded in 2017 by former congressional staffers. The Dallas chapter also launched in 2017 — but didn’t begin organizing protests until last year. Its goal? “Recruit and train every day average citizens how to register others to vote, monitor legislation, advocate — how to be an activist,” Indivisible’s Samantha Mitchell said. • No Kings is a coalition with ACLU, Planned Parenthood, 50501 and others — including Indivisible. “Teaching how to hold elected officials accountable…Good trouble,” Mitchell said. • Despite the U.S. being in the middle of a war with Iran, ICE is still going to be the main topic of conversation. “We have a city that’s built by and for immigrants,” Mitchell said. Organizers believe ICE enforcement is worse than during the time of last year’s protests. After waiting over an hour for a ride Tesla Tesla Robotaxi support tells me to go home.. 😣😭 They said that they don’t show any Robotaxis in Dallas. The rep went to get confirmation and they said they see the post from Ashok Elluswamy and Robotaxi but can confirm there is nothing showing in Dallas on their side…..go home. Robotaxi is not live in Dallas. Who do I believe? What do I do? Here’s the call …. This stuff is why people get frustrated with Tesla
