China is our adversary. They are building more power than we are, and then using it to power data centers to advance both economic interests and of course military as well. We can’t let the Chinese beat us in AI. We’ve gotta build more data centers, we’ve gotta build more power. We’ve got a lot ahead of us here because they’re beating us on this. And eventually, some form of Universal Basic Income. Why? Because the public is finally pushing back. Communities across America are fighting data centers. Well guess what? Supply and demand. Do you think your electricity rates go up when that happens? Yes, it does. So this would BLOCK that basically. No rate payer should have to pay ONE RED CENT because of big tech and we'll be one of the first states to do it!”
