Taoiseach, your first duty is to ensure social cohesion of the nation, to listen to your electorate & work on behalf of your people - listening without prejudice is the first thing you should do.

NGOs are not 'representative', they are led by appointees dependent on you for keeping their salaries, and therefore on telling you what you prefer to hear. Citizens pay the whole lot of you - so learn some respect for your patrons.

The government has not engaged. They have been on holidays for the past two weeks and have done nothing. They have given €40 million of Irish tax payers money to Ukraine to help them continue with the war in Europe but have done nothing to alleviate the cost of fuel rising. Instead they gained increase in taxes from fuel prices. They are lazy and do nothing.
