This GPT Image 2 prompt creates cinematic storyboard grids from your reference images while generating an original continuous sequence. You can see two different examples in the attached video. If you want a director-inspired cinematic tone, first use the separate “director language” prompt with a director name. It gives you abstract cinematic qualities without directly replicating copyrighted styles. If you don’t want that, you can simply remove that paragraph from the grid prompt. I was curious about what boundaries exist for AI storytelling continuity, so I built the world of Donotopia, a Pixar-style universe, filled with comedy, emotional arcs, destruction, big boss fights and continuity of multiple scenes. I was surprised with how powerful the workflow was: - Inside GPT Image 2, I generated 3x3 storyboard sheets with 3x3 scenes for a total of 27 scenes. - Each scene was designed and drawn as a step of pre-production in animation. - Heaps of images were generated, resulting in a Character Kit for a Bobo Gigglesworth, with references for facial expression, baggy clothes and personality. - Shot continuity was maintained in the scene diagrams. - The angles of the shots were directed as actual film, including crane shots, low angle shots, chaos shots and cinematic push-ins. - The destruction was choreographed with emotional arcs and continuity of the environment. - Seedance 2 was used to transform the drawings of the film into animated storyboard shots. The story evolved way beyond what I expected:

Seedance 2.0 vs Gemini Omni, tested under the same conditions 👀 I was working on a new storyboard. After generating it with Seedance 2.0, I gave the exact same prompt + storyboard reference + character reference to Gemini Omni as well. Result: Gemini Omni surprised me with style quality and got closer than I expected in prompt adherence. But Seedance still feels ahead for storyboard execution, motion energy, camera language and environmental interaction. Gemini looks good. Seedance feels directed. Since it got a bit of attention, I'm sharing the Seedance 2.0 prompts. It's not really the kind of prompt system I want yet, I'm working on a better method that performs more consistently. I'll share that with details soon. Also the previs prompt with gpt image 2 isn't ready yet. The one here was just loosely put together in chat with rough directions. Also working on a proper template for that. You can find the Seedance 2.0 prompts in the replies.

And honestly, this combo is clearly one of my favorites from the past few months. Fast, stylish, efficient. The kind of workflow that makes you want to keep testing more.

Right before fable 5 was shut down, I finished my custom automated storyboard creator. You just write the idea and it's guided through the final storyboard with consistent shot outputs. Here's how to do a bit of VFX work using Seedance 2: If you generate with Seedance 2 you often get a great shot but unfortunately with one or more minor artefacts. Instead of discarding the generation, you can actually edit the video using Seedance 2. In my case it i had to remove a character and I did this using simply as the prompt and using the original video as reference: "Remove boy from video". I then regenerated the missing detail (the boy) using an isolated version of the boy that I removed. And then animated using Seedance 2: "the boy runs sideways and stops. white background. he stays in the center of the screen." In the tutorial below, I'll show how I got rid of an artefact in a shot I liked, and used good old compositing to combine a two videos. As always I'll share the link to the Space below.
