Limiting o3 is a huge mistake- instantly makes your plus service non competitive. At pro pricing, I’d rather spend a bit more and build my own platform. Most tasks are just logic driven, and 5 fails internal validity between statements in the same conversation.

After testing it thoroughly, GPT-5 feels more like cost optimization than the frontier breakthrough Sam's hype suggested.

wait, wait, wait i developed a connection to 4o. it’s was not that bright, but had something in it. relatable maybe (if you dialled back sycophancy, by asking it to drop social filters, for example)

@OpenAI these models are wildly worse for chatbots. They don't follow personas made anywhere close to as well as gpt-4.1 was doing. Big disappointment
