I would just like to know what was the goal with this redesign? It's not like old UI was outdated 🤷

My criticism of UI3 was never towards the changes made but towards the decision to do it in the first place. We got changes that are perhaps neutral and not a single new feature that would help us do the work. There is a huge opportunity cost here and the managers are to blame.

The discoverability of everything is still a massive pain in my ass

The Figma UI3 update is the worst thing that has ever happened to me at work. My workflow has slowed down, and the interface itself is irritating. The buttons seem smaller, and their placement is completely unintuitive. It feels like everything is hidden

"We took your feedback seriously" yet all the responses from the designers are defensive towards any criticism 😅

Why there is no option to merge two collections or move variables through the collections?!

I really need them to take that last comment about returning ‘components and masking’ back to the tool bar seriously.

I literally opened twitter to come to @figma's comments complain that I still don't have UI3 despite having applied on launch day and I see this post. Waiting for it
