GPT-6 Astra is changing how I use CapCut PC. The biggest shift is customization. Instead of asking AI to make a finished video, I can describe the exact editing assets and visual style I want, then bring them into CapCut PC for the actual edit. #GPT6Astra #CapCutPC

I felt this with coding. Even before it was good enough to make an entire app, it would still me going in the right direction and show me new ways of doing things

This could make experimenting with different visual styles dramatically faster.

AI does not need to take over the timeline to make a huge difference.

The subtitle side of this is just as interesting as the color grading side.

AI does the repetitive setup while the editor handles the creative decisions.

The strongest part is that the generated result is not the end of the process.

Customization is where AI editing gets much more interesting.

AI can handle the first pass while the editor decides what actually belongs in the final project.

Color grading is the clearest example. I can describe a specific look in my own words — moody shadows, muted highlights, warm skin tones, soft contrast — and Astra generates a custom .cube LUT based on that direction. Then I download it and import it into CapCut PC.

This is much more flexible than choosing the closest preset from a fixed LUT library. If the shadows are too dark, the highlights aren’t warm enough or the overall look feels off, I can simply refine the prompt and generate another version. Then I bring the new LUT back into CapCut PC to compare, adjust and fine-tune. That makes color grading an iterative, customizable process. #Seedance25

The same thing happens with subtitles. Astra can generate customized animated subtitle effects in an .srt → I bring it into CapCut PC → place it on the timeline → separate it across tracks → adjust timing, font, position and animation. Then Edit Pilot, AI Edit and AI Extend can take the post-production workflow even further. The AI creates the material. CapCut PC turns it into an actual edit. #AIVideo

That’s why I think Astra + CapCut PC is more interesting than either one on its own. Astra makes the starting material highly customizable. CapCut PC makes it editable and gives me final creative control. And together, the workflow becomes: Prompt → generate → import → refine → iterate. Maybe the next step in AI editing isn’t less editing. It’s making the editing we actually want to do much faster. #Seedance25

Being able to keep tweaking timing, typography and positioning after generation is important.

This is a good example of AI fitting into an existing creative workflow instead of replacing it.

The real value is having more starting points to experiment with.

This makes AI feel more like a creative assistant than an automatic video factory.

Having a generated .cube ready to import removes a lot of unnecessary manual work.

That is a much more flexible approach than one-click video generation.

The ability to adjust intensity after importing the LUT is an important detail.

The ability to regenerate when the first result is not right makes the process much less rigid.

I think the editable asset approach will become increasingly important in AI creative tools.

This workflow feels much closer to how professional editing actually works.

This is a great example of why interoperability between AI tools and editing software matters.

The idea of generating an asset instead of an entire finished video is underrated.

I like how the workflow gives the editor multiple opportunities to make decisions.

Here’s how I’d approach AI video for performance marketing: Don’t make one ad. Make a system for testing many ads. Seedance 2.5 is on CapCut, and Seedance 2.5 1080p is now live. The CapCut PC workflow makes sense for this because the generated footage can go directly into the edit. #CapCutPC #CapCutSeedance25
