Graduate students at Temple University have faced retaliation for going on strike and asserting the radical notion that they should make a living wage, receive decent benefits, and get dignity on the job. I stand in strong solidarity with the workers of TUGSA.

@TUGSA_6290 Or they could just go get another job. Oh wait there is no real life market for the sociology of underwater basket weaving. Well if you found one place that will hire you for that then be happy you are there!

@TUGSA_6290 Temple Grad here. I support Grad Students making a living wage, receiving benefits and treated with dignity! Come on TU we better than this! #templeowlsareeverywhere

@TUGSA_6290 Maybe study and get a degree in something that provides a marketable skill. Just saying.

@TUGSA_6290 Hahahahahahah. Is this for real? “Living wage” 😂😂. From the fraud that disnt pay his own workers a living wage until they raised hell. Then said fraud caved and cut their hours.

@TUGSA_6290 As a grad student at UW-Madison in the 1980s grad students went on strike. I did not because you are students, it is not an actual job, it is financial aid. BTW all the grad students got great real jobs after getting their degrees.

@TUGSA_6290 Maybe they first can create a track record as employees? Or is it no longer normal after graduating you have to really work hard for a low pay to build up your resume and opportunities? 🤔🤦♂️

@TUGSA_6290 The real minimum wage is exactly $0. #DillForCongress #KS03

@TUGSA_6290 Can you do something about the home prices and housing shortage that really affects Vermont? You know, the state you represent.

@TUGSA_6290 Thank you Bernie, for all that you do

@TUGSA_6290 Bernie can you give me $100 so we can truly achieve socialism
