Landlord says Oregon Democrats have made it impossible to evict tenants She says the tenants don’t pay rent and they can even change the locks on the doors so owners can’t get in “Do you guys know that in Oregon it's virtually impossible to evict a tenant in your property if they don't pay rent? Or if they even I've heard stories of them changing the lock so the owner can't get into the house. I'm just leaving the Multnomah County Courthouse for the 4th time because the tenant that lives in my one little rental house that I don't have a property manager for because I've never needed one because nice people have lived there. I filed another non payment of rent notice with this tenant — The only time he pays rent is when I have a sheriff post on his door that we're going to court and then he pays it before the court date. So then we just start the process all over again. I can't get him out.”

I went on a couple of dates with this guy in 2018, and I won’t lie, over the years, I’ve definitely thought about him. Come to find out, his “boyfriend” is his husband… he made it seem like they broke up. After a drunken FaceTime, I find out that they are MARRIED. He told me they broke up but never said that they were legally together. I found out after I stalked them on Instagram AFTER the call. Mind you, I’ve never met his husband, but his husband has me blocked on everything. Given the info, it has to be true because again, I’ve never met the guy. The husband knows that he apparently never forgot about me and that he’s contemplated leaving him to try and pursue me. I didn’t even know he got married… or that they were still together. Oh and by the way, they are still together. I was a little traumatized not gonna lie. 🫨
