Was harsh how he was dropped to make way for Pietersen. I would have played him instead of Bell. 1. Trescothick 2. Strauss 3. Vaughan 4. Thorpe 5. Pietersen 6. Flintoff Not a bad line up.

Should've definitely played 2005 Ashes. Too good a batter to be missed out for what was a historic series. One of England's greatest. Gritty, determined and a classy player.
