If you're exhausted from the ambient noise in AI and design, I've got some soup for your soul. Andy Allen has a special point of view about what software could be. He raised $45M, did hardware + software, had a decent exit and walked away from all of it. Now he runs !Boring. Tiny team. No investors. He treats making software like a "kid in the cockpit" with his "hands in the clay". Making a calculator that feels like a game and a camera app that took 3 years to ship. This conversation with Andy was life-giving for me, and I hope you'll enjoy how refreshing his perspective is.

Hexen II (by Raven Software) was published by id Software in 1997. It was based on the Quake engine, and added some cool features such as basic RPG stats to grow more powerful in terms of hit points or mana, increasing with your experience level. You could pick one of four possible classes, each requiring a different style of play: Paladin, Necromancer, Crusader, and Assassin. Despite reviews being mostly positive, the game couldn't generate enough sales and was deemed a commercial failure, with official sales of only 30,000 units. Among the juggernauts of 90s RTS games, Hexen II simply didn't stand out enough to leave a bigger mark. I still think it was a good game, had some unique features, and a pretty high replay value due to the four classes you could choose from.

Tram to Yusuf : There was a time shimsom really like blue,he will carry food and go and give blue upstairs, he did that for like 3 /4 days straight, I had a problem with it cause it’s my room but that was my own perspective but those are their own relationship I have no say in it! If this is how “US” ( Tram , Oyin and Flora) you people have no say in it cause this is our relationship , we look after each other and that’s our P , so if you people look from outside that this one is treating this one somehow e no concern you now , there are plenty people on the house you go find your own person make them treat you…..

The X68000 was one of the best home computers for enjoying classic Konami and Capcom arcade games. Its hardware was so powerful that, aside from the Neo Geo, it was virtually the only system capable of delivering near-perfect arcade conversions at the time. Unfortunately, it was extremely expensive and sold exclusively in Japan, so very few people ever had the chance to experience it. Even today, decades after its release, the quality of its games is still incredibly impressive. Ghouls ’n Ghosts is a perfect example. Compared to the Mega Drive and PC Engine versions, the X68000 port is on an entirely different level in terms of accuracy and overall quality. It’s still amazing to think that a game this good could fit on just two floppy disks.
