I bike quite frequently. On such bike paths I consider the onus on me to watch out for pedestrians. They don't need to alter their behavior, especially children, to accommodate me, I slow down and maneuver as needed to accommodate them as all bicyclists should.

I bear sprayed a guy once. He was riding his bike, hit my stroller and blamed me. He was taking over the whole trail. He came at me and I sprayed him in the eyes. He was still screaming when I went to my truck. I pulled out my piñata stick and threatened him. He finally left.

As a cyclist it’s embarrassing to see someone act this way. He’s on a Multi Use Path, if he doesn’t want anyone in his way he’d be riding on the road. I wish him nothing but flats on every ride he takes.
