All sorts of plans to algorithmically sequence this sound objects through time. Basically, the same sequencing rules and tools for micro-scales should also work on the meso and macro scales.

And if working with digital sound, pulsar synthesis would allow to also use those rules for timbral design. But hey, acoustic instruments here!
