I like how this older version of Baki more resembled fighters of the time. He reminds me of Bruce Lee, where Bruce would make the onomatopoeia sounds during his fight scenes. You notice this a lot more in older anime from the 90s and early 2000s.

Didn't know Baki was from the 90s though it was a 2000s anime I wanna watch the netflix version but I know that's technically a new season of the old Baki so it looks like I'll have to watch this one instead first

The best thing about the OVA for me is definitely the ending, with that tender smile from Baki and that spectacular ending.
