Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) has introduced a bill w/ six Senate GOP co-sponsors that would change U.S. law to allow any naturalized American to have their citizenship stripped away if they’ve been convicted of any type of felony fraud going back to September of 1996 and make fraud a deportable offense without any financial threshold. The “Fraud Accountability Act” would apply to any felony fraud conviction against a private person, a corporation, or a government entity, and would remove a $10,000 threshold in current U.S. law that makes fraud a deportable offense. Sen.
