LB Intended Receiver Drill LB Run & Pass Techniques and Drills - Linbackers drop to their zones and then move with the Quarterback. - When they come back, they shuffle and then on the set and transfer, one will catch the ball, the second LB will block the intended receiver. - The off-backer comes around to lead the interceptor up the number. - The interceptor will run outside the number to the sideline to try to score. - Linebackers should be in a shuffle mode when the Quarterback turns his shoulders and until he drops his hand off the ball. - When the QB drops his hand, the LBs break to the ball.
