Consider this: Why does Canada even need a federal government? This is not late 19th Century Canada. You can't tell me that provinces and territories cannot govern themselves by now! Get rid of the feds!

I have been saying for the last 5 years that Alberta NEEDS to do all of its own tax collection. Then AB decides what to send to Ottawa, while simultaneously creating jobs in AB.

Doesn’t Alberta already have the constitutional power to collect taxes for provincial jurisdiction? Why not launch a constitutional challenge against the Feds for collecting taxes outside their jurisdiction?
