Great question from _ last night that *everyone* should be asking about schools: "So, Joe, if it's not that hard to do, not super expensive, better health outcomes and better schooling outcomes, what's up, why hasn't this money been spent?"

@jdickerson This is a tremendous, tremendous video clip that packs in so many of the important messages quickly and in clear language. Really great job professor, will be using this video clip frequently

@jdickerson Our school board (here in Australia) is comprised of business people. Not people with a health or engineering background. Plus undoubtedly was shooting for herd immunity, "expect to get infected" school staff said. The failure to prioritise protection of children is shocking.

@jdickerson The schools weren’t given the money; the STATES were given the money. Governor Kay Ivey diverted her state’s Covid funds to build a new prison. People should examine who they vote for.

@jdickerson The answer is: people do not demand authorities for this, they do not think about air quality and the effects on health. They don't even do it at home. This is our challenge, to make people start thinking about the air they breathe

@jdickerson Because lots of people spent years pretending that kids were basically invulnerable when it came to health outcomes?

@anonykatz2210 @jdickerson Cc @Karl_Lauterbach @starkwatzinger @lisapaus Erfüllen Sie endlich staatl.

@jdickerson This is fantastic! I’m advocating for clean school air in the Cayman Islands. Is this clip available on YouTube or similar, since the school principal I’m talking with isn’t on Twitter? Many thanks

@jdickerson My local gov had no idea what to do with the money. Opened it up for debate with community. Ended up using it for pandemic relief for businesses. Was not spent on ventilation! Federal gov did not provide enough guidance. It should not have been left up to local gov.

@jdickerson This is such a great interview! Thank you

@jdickerson Their grades are better because they don’t have carbon dioxide toxicity….
