40 hours of human work. That’s what this humanoid could save every month! A construction company is already testing a Unitree G1 on a real job site, using the robot for site inspections, 360° imaging, data collection and progress monitoring. The robot starts at around $13,500, while the company says its deployment can save roughly 40 hours of work every month. That adds up to around 480 hours a year from a machine that costs a fraction of traditional industrial equipment. The interesting part is that this isn't about replacing an entire construction worker. It's about removing hundreds of repetitive hours from the workflow, including walking inspection routes, documenting progress and collecting information across the site. Humans can then spend their time on decisions and tasks that actually require them. This is where humanoid robots become economically interesting. Construction sites are already designed around human movement, so a robot with two arms, two legs and a human-sized body can potentially work in the same spaces without rebuilding the entire environment. Every additional task it learns turns those same hardware costs into more productive hours. And the economics get even more interesting as prices fall and production scales. A robot that saves 480 hours per year doesn't need to be perfect or replace a full-time employee to justify its existence. It just needs to reliably take over the boring, repetitive work that companies are already paying humans to do. 480 hours saved. Thousands of dollars in hardware. One construction site. This is how humanoids will enter the workforce, not by replacing everyone overnight, but by quietly taking over the hours nobody wants to spend.

OIL FUND CHIEF'S NIGHTMARE WARNING: WHY NORWAY'S ENTIRE OIL FUND MAY GO TO ZERO The man who more than doubled Norway’s Oil Fund to over 22,000 billion kroner has just said the unthinkable out loud. Nicolai Tangen states that the fortune could simply disappear. What follows is a cold-eyed look at biological terrorism, AI-enabled threats, and the brutal pattern of history that has erased every previous national wealth. THE CORE WARNING ➡️ Tangen declares the Oil Fund can go empty. It can vanish. ➡️ An atomic war or biological terrorism would render the entire fund essentially worthless. ➡️ He calls bio-terrorism “quite probable, at least not improbable,” and notes AI is making it easier for more people to create such threats. THE HISTORICAL PATTERN ➡️ No great national fortune in history has ever lasted. Almost no private ones either. ➡️ Spain grew rich from the Americas then watched the money drain away through inflation, foreign creditors and endless wars. ➡️ Argentina ranked among the world’s richest nations at the start of the 1900s and has since fallen to 76th. ➡️ Britain financed two world wars by selling assets and borrowing, then saw the remaining wealth disappear. ➡️ Even the Norwegian town of Arendal went from richest city to collapse when it failed to adapt. THE DEPRESSION RISK ➡️ Markets have so far produced sharp V-shaped recoveries after crises. ➡️ Tangen fears an L-shaped crisis that does not rebound for years. ➡️ He sees parallels with the late 1920s: rapid technological progress, extreme optimism, high stock valuations and rising debt. ➡️ An 80 percent drop in the equity portion (70 percent of the fund) would wipe out more than 12,000 billion kroner. ➡️ That would cut the annual spending rule allowance roughly in half, from around 579 billion to 290 billion kroner. THE BOTTOM LINE Norway’s Oil Fund is the largest of its kind and has been extraordinarily successful. Tangen is now forcing the country to confront the possibility that even this fortune is not permanent. History has never allowed a national wealth of this scale to endure forever. #OilFundWarning #Tangen #NorwayWealth #BioTerrorThreat #HistoryRepeats #SovereignWealth #AIRisk

Since last night, our emergency services have been working at the sites of the Russian strikes. A wicked attack – as of now, we know of dozens of wounded, including children and a pregnant woman. Sadly, four people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. About 430 drones and 18 missiles were used in the strike, including ballistic and aeroballistic missiles. This was a deliberately calculated attack aimed at causing maximum harm to people and civilian infrastructure. In Kyiv alone, dozens of apartment buildings have been damaged. The Azerbaijani Embassy was hit by debris from an Iskander missile. The main target of the attack was Kyiv, and strikes also hit Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. According to preliminary data, the Russians used a Zircon missile in the Sumy region this morning. Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko has already reported on the progress of rescue operations at the sites. I am grateful to everyone helping our people. Commander of the Air Force Anatolii Kryvonozhko also reported on the results of our air defense work. I thank our warriors for their effective actions. Ukraine is responding to these strikes with long-range strength, and the world must stop these attacks on life with sanctions. Russia is still able to sell oil and build its schemes. All of this must end. A great deal of work is underway with partners to strengthen our air defense, but it is not enough. We need reinforcement with additional systems and interceptor missiles. Europe and the United States can help. We are counting on real decisions. Thank you to everyone who helps.

Dagknight technical progress As would be mentioned in a still unshared post by Michael Sutton, the dagknight effort is split into v0 devnet, v1 testnet and v2 mainnet candidate. I’ve been testing the current v0-based implementation in a small devnet with the help of some testers who run nodes and miners with me. The DK work can be thought of as split into two parts: (1) implementing the actual protocol and (2) wiring it up and using it. The testing and development over the last month has been focused on (2). Obviously, DK is a consensus change for selecting parents. What’s not so obvious is that such a change affects DAA, coinbase, IBD, pruning and a lot more. Each of these areas is very sensitive and requires proper understanding to wire correctly. An important consideration and difference from GD is that DK does not focus on maximizing a property like blue work. So to maintain topological properties of blue work, an independent (free) GD implementation is kept running specifically for maintaining blue work. This allows us to keep using the property for topology. Coloring and blue score use the megachain induced by DK. The wiring around DK as of this posting is in a working state, but still needs to be reviewed. Next efforts will be focused on protocol specific components, particularly Tie-Breaking and incremental UMC. Attached are some captures from the internal devnet. The dense DAG image is what happens when things related to DAA or other similar consensus parameter causes a node to insist on their POV. The video is a recent snippet of the KGI running on the devnet showing (perhaps not obviously) DK at work. The current “dagknight” branch is now posted on the main repo. A topic in the Public R&D has been opened for Dagknight development.

Do mindshare, sentiment, and price really work in sync? We're looking at the case of recent $FARTCOIN moves as an example of how to read and analyze data. For most of the last 2 weeks, $FARTCOIN followed the script: uptrend/downtrend in mindshare and sentiment → price followed, as shown on the multi-metric chart at But over the last 3 days: → Sentiment climbed → Price lagged and stayed coherent with mindshare. Could this mean that if the pattern holds, price is primed to catch up? Is sentiment the first thing that climbs, followed by mindshare? If so, this could mean that projects need to focus on generating positive sentiment from current users and holders first, as they are the primary drivers of mindshare growth. Let’s break down what’s really happening with $FARTCOIN and why context is everything. Numbers and price action are only part of the story. They tell you what happened, but not why it happened or what might come next. With you can analyze the context behind the moves: By tracking how people talk, feel, and engage with a project over time along with how much influence they carry. Key Drivers for $FARTCOIN sentiment growth: #1 Buzz Highlight (Cookie Deep Research): “Fartcoin reaches milestone of 155,000 holders showing strong community growth” On the surface, this sounds bullish. But a quick scroll through the Smart Feed shows that CT’s reaction was muted. That nuance matters because not every headline creates FOMO. #2 Smart Feed Signals: Sentiment was up, but not euphoric. While the charts show a clear climb in sentiment, the Smart Feed reveals the tone was measured, not manic. Again, that subtlety matters it’s not just about sentiment rising, but how it rises. #3 Top Voices: Dip Wheeler and CRG have dominated the conversation across most timeframes. Both are $FARTCOIN maxis, this was easily discoverable by stalking their smart feeds, hence if their tone shifts, that’s a signal worth tracking. Knowing who is influencing the narrative is just as important as understanding the narrative. So where does this leave us? If the sentiment → mindshare → price pattern continues to hold, we might see price play catch-up soon. But right now, the Smart Feed doesn’t show full conviction. That’s why looking at price alone isn’t enough. To understand what’s really going on, you need to go deeper into the sentiment, mindshare, and influence data that shapes market moves. Everyone deserves access to market context. That’s what decentralized InfoFi delivers. Disclaimer: This post is for informational purposes only. Always DYOR.

In 1499, Michelangelo overheard people crediting his greatest work to someone else. He snuck into St. Peter's at night and carved his name on the sculpture. He regretted it immediately and never signed anything again for the rest of his life... He was 24 years old. The year before, a French cardinal had paid him 450 gold ducats to sculpt a statue for his own tomb. The contract had one strange clause: it had to be "the most beautiful work of marble in Rome, one that no living artist could better." Michelangelo had never completed a major public commission. He accepted anyway... He carved for two years from a single block of Carrara marble that he later called the most perfect stone he ever worked. What he produced was the Pietà: the body of Christ, lifeless, across the lap of his mother. When it was unveiled, visitors refused to believe a 24-year-old Florentine had made it. They credited the work to a more famous Lombard sculptor. So according to Vasari, Michelangelo slipped into the basilica with a chisel and carved his name in Latin across the sash running between Mary's breasts: MICHAELANGELUS BONAROTUS FLORENTINUS FACIEBAT. "Michelangelo Buonarroti, the Florentine, made this." Then he vowed never to sign another work. He kept that vow. Through the David. Through the Sistine Chapel. Through the dome of St. Peter's. Through 65 more years of work, until he died at 88. Not one of them bears his name. What I can never quite get over is that he was only 23 when he started. A young man who believed he could carve the most beautiful object on earth. And then he did... If you enjoyed this, I write a newsletter read by over 50,000 people who love rediscovering the wonder and beauty of the past, one story at a time.
