Hustle and grit aside but this is very risky to the rider and the people around. How does he apply brakes in case of an emergency?

It's poverty and helplessness , which makes this cyclist take this risk. I wouldn't call it hustle, grit maybe.

This is not something to feel proud of. He is doing it bcz of his desperate situation Infact this is a Disaster Recipe. 99 times he might do it perfectly, but that 1 time smthng goes wrong & obviously it will, it can hurt or even kill him or others We should be worried abt this
