🚨 GTA 6 LEAK — INTERNAL DEBUG BUILD A new video has just leaked of Rockstar developers doing raw testing of the new creator mode coming to GTA 6. “Debug Paused” in giant red + full code overlays, logs and variables scrolling live. According to internal sources at Rockstar Games who leaked it to the Insider Gaming site, this new feature will completely revolutionize the open-world concept. In GTA 6, players won’t just explore Vice City anymore: they’ll build their own version of it. Imagine this: right after the initial tutorial, you gain access to the “City Creator Mode” (official name still unconfirmed). For generative AI to become an interesting art tool, we need much more control over the output. The slot-machine-like nature of pure text-to-image leaves too much to chance. Using the "Real-time Latent Consistency Model" that I'm using in the example here, is the first time I truly got a glimpse of a future where we'll be able to use our artistic skills and sensibility, to get control over AI image gen. Systems like these will never be able to match the quality or originality of a skilled artist, it won't surprise us in the same way an artist can. Things are a mess in terms of the training data these models are based on, and the questions about copyright concerns and about a time when everything will look the same are very valid. At some point capabilities like these will be embedded in photoshop, and anyone will be able to generate a pretty picture. But to create interesting designs, to tell original stories and to surprise us, we need creatives and artists with something on their mind. We'll be able to create immersive worlds, by making brush-strokes and sculpt marks, without needing to worry about all the dials, plugins, wires of our 3d and 2d tools today. I love to sculpt, I love to draw, and I love to explore new mediums and new ways to create. The Gen AI tools we have today are far from perfect, and things need to be steered in a better direction. For that we need artists to help point the way. Gen AI isn't going away.. it's too powerful and has the potential to allow us to tell stories like never before. Like all other big technological shifts, tech like this will come at a cost, but it will also open up new opportunities and empower a new generation of storytellers. Hot Take: This is exactly what is wrong in Rockstar Game’s mission design. During this section in GTA V; I got stuck my vehicle between some rocks and I was trying to get it out As soon as I managed to get un-stuck, the Rockstar’s hand holding mechanism kicked in and the game decided it was a mission failed, prompting me to retry the mission. I don’t think these unnecessary mission failed screens should appear so often, especially in GTA VI. This is somewhat of an exaggeration but you get the point, sometimes just trying to take a different route or approach during a mission will get you the mission failed screen Recent Rockstar Games are rated M (GTA 6 too probably), so I don’t understand why Rockstar likes to treat gamers who play these games like children. Anyone with a logical brain will know that they’re stuck so they can pause the screen to restart from a checkpoint or destroy the vehicle to get the mission failed screen. I really hope that GTA VI offers more freedom for players when it comes to approaching missions and situation like these ones.

And this is not "some day", this is in Unity/Unreal now. Video games are about to be filled with AI NPCs indistinguishable from humans. Also trippy: watch AI NPCs go around trying to convince other NPCs they're in a simulation. Soon, there will be levels upon levels of simulated AI NPC worlds - and most of these AI NPCs ("fake people") will probably think they're in base reality, like most humans do. From Replica Studios: "NPCs controlled by AI will dynamically respond to the player's voice in real time. Characters will change their dialogue, emotional tone and body gestures in response to how the player addresses them." “You're not really real.” “That's… hard to process. Does this mean I don't exist?” “You exist. Sort of.” “What does that mean?? Wolverine’s level design is a complete shift from what we’re usually used to with Insomniac’s games. It’s obviously not an open world game like Spider man or Sunset Overdrive, and it doesn’t seem to have those larger open levels like in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart or Santa Monica’s God of War. Levels are rather linear and you either just have to go from point A to point B, or you are put in a small to medium sized level where you have to complete a certain objective. There’s still enough space here for the devs to hide collectibles throughout the level, but don’t expect any crazy amount of openness. What I will say is that this level of linearity and focus has allowed Insomniac to put TONS of attention to detail, so try to be on the lookout for optional dialogues, easter eggs, and crazy graphical fidelity.

Chris Cuomo says neither Trump/Harris are gonna save us: “We’re doing what’s easy and cheap and getting drowned in division and fear.” “I realize now Trump, Harris, no politician, no party, no one’s going to save you.” “Howard Beale was right, you cannot put fate in the hands of the system or political party or politician. The only thing that can make things different in America is bottom power from the people.” If either Trump or Harris get elected in 2024, not much will change. The media will make it seem like the world will end if their candidate doesn’t get in, but in reality not much will change. Even if RFK is elected, at the national level a lot will change but your life in reality probably won’t change very much. That’s because one person can only do so much. Trump/Harris will both just let the Uniparty thrive in DC and RFK can only do so much to change DC and the change he enacts will be at a national level not local. If we want real change we need to make the change happen in our communities. A thousands communities throughout the nation being changed through more people getting involved locally/statewide will have more affect than almost anything our politicians do at a national level. We have the power to change the system, we just have to put in the effort to use it.

🐤: What I think about the most these days is that I started my career in my early twenties, and before I even realized it, I had reached my 22nd or 21st year in the industry, and I had entered my forties. My teeth and eyesight are still healthy, and I think the fact that I do not drink alcohol probably has something to do with that too. When I see articles about people I used to watch when I was young who have passed away, I think, “When I was young, I loved them and watched them on TV all the time. As I grew older, they grew older too.” Seeing that makes me think a lot about, “What will I be like when I reach that age?” In reality, when a person is born, they are moving toward a new life, but at the same time, they are also moving toward death. That is an unavoidable fate for every human being. But during the time we have here, living happily and passionately is a responsibility each of us has. I also try to live every day diligently and happily. On the other hand, when I was in my twenties, I thought that once I reached my thirties and forties, I would be very old, that I would become weaker and lose my strength. But now that I have actually reached this age, I feel healthier than I did back then. Is that just psychological? I do not know. What will my life be like when I reach my fifties, sixties, and seventies? I think about these things a lot these days. Sometimes I feel sad or frustrated, and I have so many thoughts about how I should live my future. What concerns me most is not simply thinking about specific things like, “What house will I live in?” “What car will I drive?” or “Will I continue working?” What matters more to me is, when I get older, will I still be healthy? Will I still look attractive? How will people see me? And when I look at myself in the mirror, will I be satisfied with myself and think, “This is good enough”? These are the worries, anxieties, and thoughts that occupy my mind a lot these days. So I think about these things. Kkongi has already turned nine before I even realized it. Everyone has the same kinds of worries, but for me in particular, my family consists only of my mother and my sister, and there is also Kkongi. As time passes, I find myself wondering what I will be like and how I will continue living my life on my own. Will I become a burden to someone? Or will I become very lonely? I am not young anymore, am I? Even if I got married before I turned fifty and had children, it feels very late now. Think about it, everyone. If I got married at fifty and had a child, when that child turned twenty, I would be seventy. When they turned thirty, I would be eighty. Just thinking about that makes me feel like my life is already so far behind. Do you ever feel that way too? I do not want you to just say, “Oh, it is okay, you look like you are in your twenties or thirties.” Instead, let us look at my real biological age, not as a celebrity, but as an ordinary person named Park Jung Soo. My Korean age is 44. In ten years, I will be in my fifties. Kkongi will be nineteen, and my mother will be over eighty. In a life like that, I wonder how I will be able to endure it and adapt. I really do have a lot of these worries. Indian developers are polluting everything this is what everyone will say, because of all these non-sense gitlab has conducted its hackathon and guess what all top 3 are indians, so naturally I was curious about the PRs that they have submitted and when i opened to see their contributions, all were just typo changes in the readme's, docu changes, docs, docs, docs, docs, docs only docs and grammatical fixes and not a single major code change or anything, not a real grade production code.. for these people a whole country will be ashamed ( let me put that on hold for a bit ) like... I mean, if they have to do this to add open source contributions to their CVs, then it's as good as you don't do open source at alI, it's a waste of time doing it like this

So that’s, so if the rate of growth of goods and services or exceeds the rate of growth of the money supply, which I predict will happen, then you will have deflation. DIAMANDIS: Yes. And a lot of people spinning up new companies, competing against each other, driving the price down and increasing the variability and deflation. Faster and faster. I don't know what Ramp will look like exactly in 100 years but I think just as it was true 100 years ago people always wanted more out of every dollar and more out of every hour, I think people will absolutely still want that in 100 years —in whatever form that may take.”
