Gunsmith Cats (1996)

This is a really good Anime. But if you love cars, you'll love how they animated them in this.

The greatest anime car chase ever made

Btw, this guy did bubblegum crisis and before that he illustrated the Space Battleship Yamato so many times its burned into his memory.

Art and story created by Kenichi Sonoda

Animation used to be so consistently good in the 1990s. What happened?

This was a short OVA series, like only a few episodes long, but if anyone is wanting to read the manga - they've just rereleased them after being super expensive for like 10 years. It's pretty good with a lot of action. Has some pretty heavy subjects sometimes - plus nudity 😎

Thank you for continuing to recognize peak. Gunsmith Cats is incredible.
