Gus going all in with his illusions in this scene

honestly the part im the most confused about is how he made bria's magic not work. like i didnt think illusions can actually do something that literal. And he doesnt even use a gaulder stone for it. Its just his own raw strength.

Ooh I didn't notice the two other attacks the first time around. His concentration to keep his illusion around her emerging pillers shows how good he is at his craft. Then getting rid of the hands to make her stop for the time being was smart, Gus was slept on

The way he uses illusion magic really is dependent on your enemies buying the bluff, but if you're really skilled with it, you could really disorient someone regardless of whether they know it's real or not.

And Gus managed to do all this with his base magic. If he loses control and his eyes glowed it would have all been over in a matter of seconds.

The stones bleeding from the eyes and face is such a cherry on top that made this scene actually kinda scary, Iove when kids shows allow just a liiittle blood to let a scene be mature.

If the show wasn't cancelled, we would've gotten another episode about the Galderstones
