Ana Sayfaya Dön

Had a pretty productive week. Flow is such a strange state, it feels almost sublime when you’re in it. Grok 4.5 in Cursor certainly played a big part in that. - Upgraded the dungeon visuals to make it feel more atmospheric - Redesigned 18 enemies and added different enemy...

I vibe coded a separate custom art gen tool hooked up to ChatGPT images 2.0 and its pretty denent, it's not perfect so I had to manually edit it in photoshop ocassionally.

This looks super fun and polished already congrats! When you said you had grok restructure the cards, can you talk more about the process? I'm building a card deck for another project and have put off creating all the artwork to put them and the descriptions together onto a template whilst I work on other things

Thanks! I asked grok to structure the whole refactor process with a similar prompt like this

able to add like a togglemotion sickness mode/reduction of motion? when a lot of things are parallax moving at once in certain ways in the video, it gets me motion sick (and if I am, there are others who probably are)

Way to go and nice looking steam page! I know what you mean, ai is a sweet spot for maintaining flow states because there is no blockers that would typically interrupt the creative process. It’s just you and your model. I’ve been using Claude and codex for my projects, I have two more in que and I think I’ll try grok for at least one of those.

Thank you! 100% this. Yeah it's so good for the creative process because the feedback loop is so short.

I love games with card mechanics like this. And the style looks awesome. I would add a little drag to the movement of the arms/held items though. Since the rotation movement is so fast, keeping the on screen body parts/items static betrays expectation. So, when the person rotates to the left, the fire of the torch should drag to the opposite direction, to the right.

sounds like you're tryna downplay the AI usage and how it did literally everything, with the verbiage on the steam store. any reason the AI disclosure doesn't say "every piece of art and code in this game is AI generated"?

I finished the DLC for Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters. Here’s a quick little analysis. I liked it quite a lot. It lasts around 3 hours (I played it on Hard). It has small references to the previous games, and that’s definitely appreciated. You can tell they refined the combat system even more and made the game harder, because the three chapters really kicked my ass is a not stop action combat. Maybe I’m just rusty, but enemies respond much better during combat now. One good thing is that when you lose, you can now skip the death dialogue. If you run out of health and press the button, it immediately restarts, which makes everything feel smoother (that was one of the things I had been asking for). However, things like being able to save the game at UMI or the HDR issues were not added or fixed, which is a shame. I liked the new stages — especially the “hell” one. It feels like a sea without water. You can tell this game was designed to be played at night, because in daytime stages the characters look kind of weird. Maybe it’s just something you have to get used to. Yakumo’s new weapon is incredible. Ryu’s new weapon, on the other hand, I didn’t fully understand. It’s simple, but it feels like it’s missing hits — I noticed it felt kind of empty. It’s more of a “connector” weapon than anything else. It’s great that they added the option to customize which weapons you want to use, or even equip them all together. The new enemies definitely add challenge (there are 4 new enemies or bosses), and I liked the final boss — I’m not sure if more than the others in the base game, but I really enjoyed it. To sum it up, I liked the DLC. However, I feel like they’re going to release a BLACK version, because it’s missing unlockable content, costumes, and characters like Ayane. That honestly makes me sad. A game with such a fun combat system really needed that extra content. If this DLC had been included in the base game, it would have been incredible. Later I’ll talk about the new 100-level mode (it has 3 accessories to unlock — they’re probably for the new weapon). But overall, it’s a good, very playable DLC, just lacking in content. Great job by PlatinumGames and Team Ninja — but please learn to listen a bit more to the fans who have been supporting you for years. Adding more costumes or another playable character is enough to make us happy. 🥷 🥰 Team NINJA PlatinumGames Inc. Super Ninja™

First impressions on The Blood of Dawnwalker without spoilers: I finished the prologue in about 3 hours. So far I've been having a genuinely great time with this game. 🩸 As someone who absolutely loves dark fantasy, Dawnwalker scratches a very specific itch for me. The atmosphere and music are phenomenal and the lore and world-building immediately pulled me in. And as a huge Witcher fan I'm getting so much of that same haunting, melancholic feeling I loved in Velen. 🩸 I'm already really invested in the characters. They've grown on me surprisingly quickly and I genuinely feel like I'm on a journey to save my own family at this point 😂 🩸 Voice acting is excellent. Imo, it's one of the things that can make or break a story focused game and Dawnwalker absolutely nails it. 🩸 Combat surprised me! I immediately thought of KCD when I first saw it which worried me a little tbh since I always found KCD's combat a bit lanky but Dawnwalker's combat doesn't feel lanky or awkward at all. I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. And I can't wait to experience more of Coen's vampiric abilities. 🩸 I'm absolutely digging the time system! I was worried it would make the game feel rushed but I actually love how it works. Choices feel much more meaningful and it makes me even more excited to replay and make completely different decisions. 🩸 And yes, as expected there are bugs 😭 But so far nothing I have encountered has broken the game, ruined my immersion or actually frustrated me which is pretty impressive for a new IP from a new studio imo. 🩸 Oh and I'm playing in Performance Mode on a base PS5 and it feels smooth. It's safe to say I'm obsessed already and looking forward to playing more ♥️

If you ask introverts how they’ll feel about mingling with strangers, they predict it'll be a miserable experience. But then afterwards they almost always feel better. There have been multiple studies on this topic—extraversion, and specifically how introverts feel when you tell them, in a research setting, to behave in a more extraverted way. Researchers will bring introverts in and ask them, beforehand, to forecast how they think they’ll feel: We’re going to ask you to go out, talk to people, start conversations—how do you think that’s going to feel? And the answer is almost always negative. Some version of: This is going to suck. I’m not looking forward to it. They expect to feel drained or uncomfortable. But then they actually do it—talk to strangers, initiate conversations, behave in an extraverted way. And afterward, when asked how it felt, they consistently say they enjoyed it more than they expected. That finding has been replicated across multiple studies. It’s not surprising that extraverts feel good when acting extraverted. What’s more interesting is that introverts usually do too—certainly more than they predict. A useful analogy is the gym. Even people who like working out feel resistance beforehand. Do I really want to do this today? But once they go, they almost always feel better. Social interaction seems to work the same way: anticipatory dread beforehand, followed by a more positive payoff once they actually do it.
