I vibe coded a game called Aether Breach for my son today. Built the whole thing in about 2 hours using Cursor, Grok 4.5, and GPT Image 2.0. He gave it a try and really liked it. I just need to make Easy mode a bit more relaxed so he can make it to the later stages. The full game has DualSense support too. I published my WebHID DualSense npm package a few days ago, so adding controller support to new games is pretty straightforward now. Really happy with how it turned out.

I took Grok 4 for a spin this weekend to build this game prototype. I used SuperGrok Chat to generate the initial game prototype and then brought it over to Cursor to continue coding with Grok 4 MAX. Grok 4 in Cursor is like a no-nonsense agent. Doesn't speak much, but delivers the goods. There were moments where I was rate-limited or stuck on a bug or two that I had to get other models to help, but otherwise it's a fast, reliable model to work with. This makes me incredibly excited for Grok Code to launch in August!

ROSÉ on keeping relationships private “I’ve never been in a public relationship, and a lot of that is because I want to protect the person I love. It hurts more when people close to me get attacked. I’m okay being in the public eye it’s my job but it feels unfair when someone I care about gets dragged into it. Right now, with the fan base I’ve experienced, I don’t know if I feel completely safe. Maybe in the future, if I really trust the media to protect me, I’d feel more comfortable. But for now, I think a lot of people understand what that feels like.”

When I play turn based games like Persona I feel like it’s very “stop and go” but in FF7 I feel like the game is very snappy and fast paced? The enemy always has a chance to attack you while you’re choosing what to do and I really enjoy the fact that the game is aggressive🙂‍↕️

I finished the DLC for Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters. Here’s a quick little analysis. I liked it quite a lot. It lasts around 3 hours (I played it on Hard). It has small references to the previous games, and that’s definitely appreciated. You can tell they refined the combat system even more and made the game harder, because the three chapters really kicked my ass is a not stop action combat. Maybe I’m just rusty, but enemies respond much better during combat now. One good thing is that when you lose, you can now skip the death dialogue. If you run out of health and press the button, it immediately restarts, which makes everything feel smoother (that was one of the things I had been asking for). However, things like being able to save the game at UMI or the HDR issues were not added or fixed, which is a shame. I liked the new stages — especially the “hell” one. It feels like a sea without water. You can tell this game was designed to be played at night, because in daytime stages the characters look kind of weird. Maybe it’s just something you have to get used to. Yakumo’s new weapon is incredible. Ryu’s new weapon, on the other hand, I didn’t fully understand. It’s simple, but it feels like it’s missing hits — I noticed it felt kind of empty. It’s more of a “connector” weapon than anything else. It’s great that they added the option to customize which weapons you want to use, or even equip them all together. The new enemies definitely add challenge (there are 4 new enemies or bosses), and I liked the final boss — I’m not sure if more than the others in the base game, but I really enjoyed it. To sum it up, I liked the DLC. However, I feel like they’re going to release a BLACK version, because it’s missing unlockable content, costumes, and characters like Ayane. That honestly makes me sad. A game with such a fun combat system really needed that extra content. If this DLC had been included in the base game, it would have been incredible. Later I’ll talk about the new 100-level mode (it has 3 accessories to unlock — they’re probably for the new weapon). But overall, it’s a good, very playable DLC, just lacking in content. Great job by PlatinumGames and Team Ninja — but please learn to listen a bit more to the fans who have been supporting you for years. Adding more costumes or another playable character is enough to make us happy. 🥷 🥰 Team NINJA PlatinumGames Inc. Super Ninja™

All Ubisoft had to do was make the game feel more like Alberto Mielgo's cinematic. The game itself felt soulless. It didn't even have 5% of the trailer's soul. Sad to see a franchise die with an entry with the most potential. One of the biggest fumbles in gaming's history.

And the answer is almost always negative. Some version of: This is going to suck. I’m not looking forward to it. They expect to feel drained or uncomfortable. But then they actually do it—talk to strangers, initiate conversations, behave in an extraverted way. And afterward, when asked how it felt, they consistently say they enjoyed it more than they expected. That finding has been replicated across multiple studies. Not only is Ghost of Yotei's combat incredible, but it's a notable improvement over Tshushima, evident with anything more than surface level knowledge and analysis. Compared to its predecessor, it has far more aggressive AI, movesets, faster attack patterns, parries, dodges, much smaller parry windows, added dynamism, more tools/weapons, mechanics, enemy variety etc. All of which come together to make the actual flow of combat more demanding, diverse and precise, with a more frenetic and deadly feel. On Hard/Lethal, while a decent player can make the game LOOK easy, in reality it's surprisingly challenging, with death always a single mistake or split second or few away. I've died more in Yoei than some Soulsborne titles lol. It also makes Tsushima feel almost easy in comparison, even on Lethal. Perhaps it's harder as I play in Miikei mode (close up camera and extra blood), but I wouldn't have it any other way! 🔥 #PS5Pro gameplay video. #GhostofYotei #GhostOfYōtei #PS5

If I have a plug or a hack to get a better deal or more food, would I share it online? Probably not, the chances that it would ruin it me or the company is pretty high. Especially if other locations catch on. I feel that if I shared this, what would happen is more and more people would try to take advantage of it and the store would issue a policy to stop it. What I’m conflicted about is, by ordering a taco in a bowl, I would be getting a $15 bowl for $4. Is it my fault the company has a loophole like that, or should I even feel guilty about exploiting it if it’s only for my benefit? Or is it a scenario where everything is fair game because the restaurant allows us to do that. Whose fault is it that we figured out how to get their pricier item for less? Someone else called it theft, but is this really theft if it’s allowed? They allow us to put our taco shell in a bowl. They allow us to ask for as many extras that we want. So would I really be the bad guy for taking advantage of this? I figured if this was a real issue the store would have stopped it, and to this day as far as I know, anyone can still do this. When I get a chance this week I’ll go and try to do this again to see if it still works, I’ll keep you posted.

I beat the big Expansion on Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and the 2 dlcs - The 2 DLC are basically more content with 2 different maps (Sky breaker and Secrets of the Spiers). However more enjoyable then the main game *THE BIG Expansion From the Ashes felt like a new game: - The protagonist So'lek is by far way better than any character from the main game - They added to the combat and took away a lot of level rpg elements (which were not needed) - Story and moments where awesome, it really ties a lot of stuff to the fire and ashes movie - If they make more avatar games, they need to use So'lek instead of custom character, this expansion was definitely in the correct direction Overall I have 86 hours with the main game and all dlcs. I love avatar!!!! The from the ashes dlc was BY FAR the best thing I played here. Huge expansion too, 30 hours for 100%
