if you're making 2D pixel art games for #vibejam this is solid. generate a sprite, create an end frame, prompt the animation between them worth checking. you can use with game creator skill design your game with placeholder wireframes using your agent, replace with final sprites later

A lot of people have been asking about getting vibe coded games onto mobile phones. Been experimenting with different ways to get stuff running on iOS. Here's a quick Super Crate Box inspired prototype running on the simulator. Hoping to establish a good workflow that would make this easy to do with Claude Code / Codex / Cursor.

In the past week, I was able to build the following games: - An endless runner - A tower defense - A Mario Party-like mini-game - An arena-based shooter The key unlock here was the ThreeJS skill With Opus 4.5 & GPT 5.2 - Claude Code / Codex CLI have much better end results now. With each game, I continued to update the skill based on bugs and issues faced - so it progressively got better and better at building the gameplay I was looking for. I've been doing this for a while now - and I can say that the leap in building games with vibe coding is real.

I've started reading Dungeon Meshi and also been doing a lot of 2D/3D mixed stuff in Blender recently, so of course I had to combine the two. Had a lot of fun learning how to combine vertex painting with pixel textures for this one. #dungeonmeshi #pixelart #Blender3d

🎮 Game submissions for the #vibejam can now we browsed at It syncs the game entrants and also their analytics, so you can sort by [ Most played ] There's about 74 entrants now, but most games will be submitted in the final week which it projects will be over 1,000+ but we'll see! This was the idea last year to do to with the Vibe Jam but back then I didn't have AI to make it this easy, and also I didn't ask for screenshots of the games which now we do, I'll now add a similar gallery to the old 2025 page

I now managed to make an actual body swap with Seedance 2 tuning up the prompt, I suppose this tool has a lot of potential for 3D animation. It's still a long way far of making actual "anime" like Sora 2, for example, but for 3D enjoyers it might be worth a try. #bodyswap

I had to leave CVPR a little early, but I had a wonderful time talking to lots of interesting folks. In particular, I had the chance to test out and talk to Michael Black, Hanz Cuevas V., and Anastasios Yiannakidis about the project. I made a few nice idiomatic Rerun upgrades to it, such as converting images to h264 videos, adding keypoint + segmentation masks, and replacing the sam2 backbone with efficienttam. The method is really, really good compared to everything else I've tried, and I plan on working with it a lot more. With a little engineering effort, I think it could come close to running in real time.

AM2R is a triumph. The original Metroid 2 on Game Boy was my first Metroid game, back when I was about 7. I've since played it about ten times. Over the years I've played all the 2D Metroids over and over, 5 to 20 times each. I don't usually play fan games, but this week I decided to finally give AM2R a shot (on Hard with an Xbox controller), and I gotta say... it's fantastic. It's simultaneously a more faithful remake than Samus Returns, and more satisfying to play and 100% complete. I like Samus Returns alright -- it's probably my least favorite 2D Metroid, still a good game though. But I think AM2R is even better.
