But this one is a thank you…even though we have a long way to go with reconciliation in the Catholic Church, Pope Francis gave the apology for the role the Catholic Church played in perpetuating the horrors against our children. I believe he was sincere. And I was there to document it. Here is the moment when Pope Francis gave the LONG awaited apology in Rome, 2022. I am in the Vatican press room. I was stunned. SSPX Consecrations: Asked if the four bishops have the apostolic mandate, the notary replies -- “It is the Catholic & Roman church, always faithful to the traditions received from the apostles, who in entirely exceptional circumstances demands that we provide for the upholding of these traditions, that is the deposit of faith & that we take the means necessary to transmit them faithfully to all men for the salvation of their souls. Since the Second Vatican Council up to the present day the authorities in the church have been animated by a spirit that is contrary to the faith & have been acting against holy tradition. Continuing his catechetical series on the Dogmatic Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, Sacrosanctum Concilium, Pope Leo XIV reflects on the liturgy through the lens of tradition and of development: “The Second Vatican Council recognized it was time to adjust some adaptable elements in the liturgy for the health and vitality of the Church, to fortify and rejuvenate Christians, and to foster unity and evangelize men and women. The Council affirmed that legitimate progress in the liturgy must also preserve sound tradition, and that certain elements of the liturgy can never change because they are divinely instituted. In a particular way, I encourage all priests to respect the texts and norms of the liturgy with openness, humility, trust in God’s greatness and with sincere fidelity to ecclesial communion.”

Hang on a minute, what? If you are using “they refuse to accept certain fundamental elements of the Church” as your discernment criteria, why don’t we start with the long list of openly heretical cardinals (eg Hollerich, McElroy etc) and bishops in German, all of whom explicitly reject Church teachings?

Is this an attempt to smooth things over with the pope, given the rhetoric between President Trump and Pope Leo?” Secretary Marco Rubio: “No. No. I mean, it’s a trip we had planned for him before. And obviously we had some stuff that happened. And no, look, there’s a lot to talk about with the Vatican. I’ll give you one example. The Pope just returned from a trip to Africa, where the Church is growing very vibrantly. And we have shared concerns about religious freedom, religious freedom in different parts of the world. We’d love to talk to them about that. The topic of Cuba, you know, we gave Cuba $6 million of humanitarian aid, but obviously they won’t let us distribute it. We distributed it through the Church. We’d like to do more. We’re willing to give more humanitarian aid to Cuba, by the way, distributed through the Church. But the Cuban regime has to allow us to do it. I will continue to post videos of all TLM communities, in particular the SSPX, as they are in desperate need of our support but, most importantly, our prayers. There are reports that the Vatican is considering making all faithful who attend SSPX chapels, as schismatics along with the clergy and seminarians. I hope it is not true. I hope the Holy See is touched with the mercy that they beg others to have for migrants, homosexuals, Muslims, jews, and enemies of the church. Pray ceaselessly. Blessed be God forever.
