Happiness isn’t something you earn, it’s something you CHOOSE. International Day of Happiness is a reminder that JOY is our true nature. HAPPINESS is our power—and our choice. We don’t have to wait for something big to feel happy—there is magic in the little things, too.

Happiness isn’t a result, it’s a choice. Nothing and no one can make you happy until you decide to be.

Life lesson from Yoongi today: happiness is something you find on your own 🐥: Let's live happily 🐿️: I'm happy even now 🐥: You're happy? 🐿️: Yeah 🐤: That's good, right? 🐿️: Is there any reason not to be happy? 🐱: Jimina, are you saying "Let's live happily" because you aren't happy right now? This won't do 🐤: No, if I'm not happy, you should be thinking of ways to make me happy, not saying "this won't do" 🐱: Happiness is something you find on your own 🐤: That's right 🐱: It's not like it'll work just because I try to find it for you

Qullamaggie on George Soros and Not Doing Something Every Day “Oh man, everything except for EDU is straight up today. You know this is what trading should be about. Just sit and wait and don’t do much. You shouldn’t be working for your money; it should just happen like every other day. This is what swing trading is all about. You get good entries and then you just wait. I think there’s a Soros quote like, you know in this business, you shouldn’t do something every day. Because when that special day comes around, you won’t recognize the opportunity. Something like that. Yeah if you keep pushing every day, you won’t be able to recognize that special opportunity that comes around. You know, maybe only a few times per quarter or year.”

Naval says he used to be unhappy because he didn’t value happiness. Of course these days, things are different. Takeaways: - If you want to be happy, you need to value it -Desire will cloud your happiness. Most of us have many desires - You shouldn’t give up on your desires, but you want to be very careful which ones you have - If it seems dark and gloomy, it’s because you have too many desires running at once - Remember that happiness is not a sustainable state - Peace can be converted to happiness - Peace is happiness at rest, and happiness is peace in motion - If you are living a very peaceful and calm life and engage in activity, you will naturally find that that activity is happy, but if you set out to be happy, you won’t get there - The most important thing in the pursuit of happiness is that you value happiness - The two biggest clouds that cover happiness are survival (money) and replication (finding a mate) - We are meant to be happy. You can see that little kids running around are naturally happy. If a child is not happy, you say “what’s wrong?”

🇭🇰🎙️ Q (SCMP): "How will you determine what is a successful 'Happy Hong Kong' campaign? " Sec. Home & Youth Affairs, Alice Mak: "We are not going to set a specific KPI and say happiness is something you can measure. Happiness is something that you can feel."

Problems are the seeds from which happiness grows. Be thankful for the struggle, Truthfully it’s the only reason you feel happy in the first place.

If you don’t know how to love yourself, you won’t be able to truly love anyone else. Find what brings you happiness, because if you don’t, you’ll never truly be happy.”
