This is Bertha - and this is exactly the situation I have been struggling with. She was my first cow purchase. Bought her as a milk cow and then soon learned she was mostly past time for being a good milk cow. She’s about 14 or 15 years old. Still gives a calf each year but her time for a natural end is coming quickly. Many would take her to the sale barn, receive some money for her. It’s difficult to explain but that feels wrong - it’s not, but it feels terrible. So at this point she will likely live her life out here, she’ll serve as a lead cow (she’s really not great for that either), but she will do okay. She means a lot to me and I just don’t want to think of her at auction or otherwise being transported somewhere away from this farm. So for now, and likely until her very end, she remains here.

It’s possible that I’m reading this wrong but this looks like Dak straight up ignored Schotty when he tried to stick his hand out for a fist bump. Take a look at Schotty’s eyes. This was just a small moment but Dak frustration imo is building. How many PCs will he have that wet the bed in big games? Even this drive we scored, it wouldn’t have happened if not for 100 penalties called on Moss. I love Schotty but he really wet the bed yesterday. First time all year I’m really disappointed in him.

Why do babies “fake” cry? For the same reason they really cry: to communicate their needs and seek the love and attention of their caregivers. Occasionally you’ll see such behaviors described to as manipulative, with some even going so far as to suggest children’s fake cries are to be ignored. You’ll find me on the opposite side of that debate. Fake cries are a communication tool common to infants and toddlers whose expressive language simply isn’t developed quite to the point that they can express their needs using words. For that reason you may find this behavior increase between, say, 10-18 months. Fake cries are just your maturing baby relying on the tool that’s always drawn your attention in the past. This sweet little guy, shared to IG by parentingessentials, doesn’t seem to be in too much distress… in fact he seems to be enjoying the interaction with mom, which may itself be the message his cry was intended to communicate: come play with/talk to me. But a fake cry is also a great opportunity to assess the state of other needs. Might a diaper need changing? Is it meal time? Time for a change of scenery? There’s a real message behind even the fakest of cries. So treat them like the real thing, only in a more advanced communicative form.

We recorded the outro to Trust Ceremony in 𝖈𝖆𝖈𝖔 (𝓵𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓮𝓹 𝓮𝓻𝓪) 🌸 ‘s bedroom near the end of this last tour. It was one of the last things that was recorded for the album. After YEARS of working on this album mostly alone, and spending the entire tour kinda isolating myself to get it done in time, it was really cathartic getting to finish it off with my friends. Now everytime I listen to it, I’ll remember this little moment of celebrating all our hard work on that tour. It’s a reminder that even in the things that I must do alone, I’m blessed to be surrounded by people who are rooting for me at every step :’) Anyways, all that is to say that we all sobbed when we finally listened to the album and reached the end

Wrapped up #Haiwaan a few days ago.. A film we shot in between all this fun and games. This was a set where you’re just having fun while doing what you love. And that really comes down to the people. Working with Priyadarshan sir was a lesson in clarity. A man who has directed 99 films, his experience brings so much calm and precision to set..it’s amazing to watch someone who knows exactly what he wants, every single day. Saif sir is just constant laughter between takes. Wicked sense of humour, stories that keep everyone entertained… and then the moment it’s “Action,” there’s a switch. Focused, effortless, completely in the zone. And finally Akshay Kumar sir! what a joy. His discipline, punctuality, and dedication to work is unmatched. I’ve never seen someone bring so much energy, fun and complete dedication to a set. Every day with him on set was a reminder of what professionalism really looks like. A Khiladi is born only when one puts in this kind of hard work! So much to learn from him! I’ve grown up watching all three of them, so being a small part of a film with them feels incredibly special. What made it even more special was that our last day of shoot was at St. Xavier’s a place where I learnt so much about life. Ending this journey there felt like life coming a full circle. A very special first Hindi film for our producers thespianfilms_ind satishfenn Shailaja D KVN Productions ,who’ve been rock solid! The list of wonderful actors on this film is very long.. but so happy to a part of this film along with Boman Irani Shriya Pilgaonkar Saurabh Jadhav Rajpal Naurang Yadav the incredible Asrani ji who was also with us on this journey Working with kind, passionate people really is the best part of filmmaking. Grateful for this journey ♥️

Always knew where everyone on the floor was and made quick decisions with the ball. Biggest Concern: He was just throw around like a doll down low. When hedging screens he had such a hard time getting back to his man and being in good position to box out. Even when in good position, he still got thrown around pretty easily. Sitting here looking at the skyline of NYC with the family. Where I was born and raised. Imagine building the greatest city in America through five straight terms of Giuliani and Bloomberg. Cleaning it up. Making it safe. Building Hudson Yards, the High Line, the waterfronts, the skyline we’re all staring at right now. Then handing it over to de Blasio and now a socialist circus ringleader Mamdani! But history repeats. NYC went dark in the 70s. Dinkins came and went. Then the pendulum swung back harder than ever. Sometimes people need to feel the decline themselves before they remember what competence looks like. You need darkness to appreciate light. Pain to appreciate peace. Chaos to appreciate order. Happens time and time again. It’s cycles. New York City will come back. It always does. Don’t listen to blackpillers, to those that are chronically online, and to those that lack any type of travel, culture or knowledge. NYC is amazingly powerful and still is. It’s pumping. On Tuesday Sept 10th, I visited the NIPCO CNG conversion center along Airport Road in Abuja to inquire about the possibility of converting my car to CNG. To my amazement, I saw many commercial vehicles refilling their cylinders attached to the trunks of their vehicles, which prompted me to engage some of the drivers. One driver who really explained the benefits of CNG to me was a Bolt driver. He mentioned that he refills his cylinder for about 3k, which lasts him a maximum of two days. He also stated that he makes between 40 to 50k daily from his work. However, I was disappointed when he said that he still charges his passengers as if he were using PMS. He mentioned this with so much pride, as if he did nothing wrong. I noticed many Golfs and Toyota Corollas on the line to refill as well. It’s also worth noting that the conversion for commercial vehicles is free, courtesy of the federal government, while the cost for private vehicles depends on the engine capacity. If you have a four-cylinder engine, conversion costs about 750k, while a six-cylinder conversion is nearly a million naira (900k+). This explains why commercial vehicle owners aren’t really complaining about the hike in PMS price as much as private car owners—they have already rigged the system.

I’m probably one of the only Teslanaires out there, if not one of the very few, still cutting my own hair. I cut my own hair again today, and it reminded me that becoming a multi-millionaire usually isn’t a random coincidence. People see the $ and think it just happened. What they usually don’t see are the small habits behind it. Of course, I could go spend $25–$50 on a haircut that probably looks better than the one I give myself. But that’s not really what matters to me. I don’t care that much about looking perfect. I care about controlling my time. I care about staying grounded. I care about keeping the kind of habits that helped me build wealth in the first place. And honestly, I enjoy doing it. I’ve been cutting my own hair for so many years that I don’t even think about going to the barber anymore. It’s just normal to me now. It saves time, keeps me frugal, and reminds me that wealth is usually built in the small choices nobody claps for. That’s the part people miss. A lot of people see wealth and assume it was luck. But a lot of the time, it’s really the result of small disciplined habits repeated for years. Not wasting $ just bc you can. Not wasting time just bc other people do. And the funny part is, one day my fleet of Tesla Bots will probably be doing it for me anyway. But until then, I’m good doing it myself. Bc to me, being wealthy was never about trying to look rich. It was about building a mindset. A mindset that values time, discipline, and freedom more than appearances. And once you really live that way, it shows up in a lot of things, even something as simple as cutting your own hair.
