When we were preparing this year’s Easter greeting, we learned that right nearby, also on the grounds of St. Sophia of Kyiv, children of Ukraine’s defenders from Kyiv and the Kyiv region had gathered at the same time – children whose parents, sadly, were killed in this war. An excursion, an Easter egg-hunting quest, traditional spring and Easter songs, and workshops on making stained glass were organized for them by the Socially Responsible Business Platform “To the Children of Our Defenders,” which brings together entrepreneurs and the state to support children who have lost their parents because of the war. The participants of the platform are always close to the families of defenders – organizing trips, rest, activities, and education, creating important moments of warmth and care. So we joined this moment at St. Sophia and came to wish the children a Happy Easter. The smiles we were greeted with are priceless. We want and must do everything so that the children of those who gave the most precious thing for Ukraine’s security never lose their faith in the world. We invite businesses, entrepreneurs, and all caring people across different regions to join the “To the Children of Our Defenders” Platform, support its initiatives, and launch their own efforts to help the children of defenders. Not only on holidays – but every day, we are grateful to all who are fighting for Ukraine. And all our care is for their loved ones.

I find myself defending VDM Easter 2024, I was in U.S when Deji Adeyanju called me to help VDM, he had been charged for Cybercrime, I called the DIG who sent a commissional to release VDM from prison on Sunday. I am not concerned with VDM I am angry at police who knew the right thing and choose to exact punishment for a case that wouldn’t go anywhere, it was well planned towards Easter because judges were going on break to resume on 13th April.

Not a gamer myself, but the song "Sound of the Wind" from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles holds a special place in my heart. To play with the mighty Metropole Orchestra was a true honor. 13 years ago, funny to see this young me singing my lungs out! I was quite nervous, wanted to prove that this metal singer could do well in a different environment than a metal band. Collaborations like that were rare in those days. Do you know the song and what do you think of this version?

82 years ago, on May 18, 1944, Russian special forces deported Crimean Tatars from their homes by force, without warning. Families were given just minutes to pack. At least 200,000 people (most of them women, children and the elderly) were taken by cattle trains to Central Asia and Siberia. Their homes in Crimea were taken by Russians arriving in the peninsula. During transit and in the first incredibly hard years, about half of the deported people died from starvation, exhaustion and diseases. Their culture was systematically being erased, as well. After the collapse of the USSR, Crimean Tatars were allowed to return to Crimea. But after Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014, they are facing systemic prosecution and suppression of their identity. A lot of them fled their homes again. Many are imprisoned for years now. This is a horrible genocide and crime against humanity that the USSR has performed easily and quickly. Russia has never gone through remorse and de-colonization pains. They wrote "4-4-76" and "4-4-2016" on a $1 bill, tore it in half, and each kept one piece, promising to reunite exactly 40 years later.
