I had a peterbuilt 379 in the 90’s and I rode with my seat down, honestly been so long ago I’m not sure why, just seemed natural, the reason I don’t in my Cascadia is cause of the high dash that blocks the hood mirrors if too low, but I will ride as low as I can and still use the mirrors effectively.

I’m 6’9. I got to keep the seat most of the way up for leg room, but I’ll lower it down a few times an hour to give my back a break. They just don’t make anything for me.
