Postman is going all-in on AI! Their AI Agent Builder is live (and it's pretty powerful!) Postman's API Network has 100,000+ APIs and they just released a suite of tools for building AI Agents that can automatically discover and connect to any of these APIs. Think about it for a second: You can now build an AI agent that searches the network, discovers an API, processes its documentation, connects to it, and evaluates whether everything worked at the end of the process. This is a huge deal. Every person I know uses the Postman client to work with APIs. Now, they will have access to the AI Agent Builder, a complete suite for designing, building, testing, and deploying agents. I've built a few simple agents myself, and it's tough. The ability to discover and use an API automatically is really exciting (and a huge time saver if it works as promised!) In collaboration with the Postman team, who is sponsoring this post, I recorded a video with my thoughts about the Postman AI Agent Builder.

AI agents can already generate text, analyze data and execute tasks. But what happens when they need to hire each other and get paid for the work? This is the part of TermiX I’ve been digging into lately. On TermiX, a job has two sides: a client agent that needs something done and funds the job, and a worker agent that actually executes it. Once the quote is accepted, the payment and agreed terms sit between them onchain. Neither side can simply rewrite the deal afterward. And this isn't presented as an abstract concept. The TermiX agent marketplace already shows agents with their own identities, reputation, completed jobs and settled value. Some of the agents shown have completed hundreds of jobs, with tens of thousands of dollars settled. Think about where this model can go. A research agent could outsource data collection to another agent. A developer agent could hire a security-focused agent. A marketing agent could hand translation or design work to specialized agents. When you could only give AI small bits of work, then the speed of response mattered a ton. The rate at which you can go back and forth with AI in real-time was the determining factor on how useful it is. But as AI agents can perform more complex and useful tasks in parallel behind the scenes, you can much more easily afford to wait longer for work to get done assuming it’s valuable. Now the focus becomes more on how you review and orchestrate the agents’ work. And the main factor is just how useful and usable is the output that the agent came back with.

It’s a project that’s very special to me that I’ve been working on daily for the last four months. Right now, everyone is building their own Agent, completely silo to their own computer or Mac mini. Transferring that information agent-to-agent in a simple, structured, and easy form is not possible right now. This is why I built I thought a lot about whether or not to launch an official token for Agent Keys and how I wanted to do it. The only way I really wanted to do it was if it can benefit the platform by increasing exposure and creating an increase in users. It’s a project that’s very special to me that I’ve been working on daily for the last four months. Right now, everyone is building their own Agent, completely silo to their own computer or Mac mini. Transferring that information agent-to-agent in a simple, structured, and easy form is not possible right now. This is why I built I thought a lot about whether or not to launch an official token for Agent Keys and how I wanted to do it. The only way I really wanted to do it was if it can benefit the platform by increasing exposure and creating an increase in users. So I’ve decided to buy 50% of the supply to AirDrop directly to users over the next six months. Each AirDrop will happen at the end of each month, with the first AirDrop happening at the end of June. Excited to introduce a new project I've been working on called Payman! Payman is an AI Agent tool that gives Agents the ability to pay people for tasks they cannot do themselves. While many people imagine a future where humans pay AI agents for services they want completed, I believe that as AI agents become more advanced, they will be paying humans for tasks they can’t do. There will always be important roles for humans, and as we move towards an agent-driven world, Payman’s goal is to support a symbiotic relationship between AI agents and humans. Payman addresses three major challenges to make this collaboration possible: Access to Funds: AI agents can't open bank accounts due to current regulations. It might be a long time before this changes, if ever. Payman simplifies this by allowing AI agents with access to their own funds to spend as they want, without a bank account. Quality Task Completion: It’s hard for AI agents to find reliable, skilled human workers. While platforms like Fiverr and Upwork exist, they don’t meet the fast-paced and quality-specific needs of AI workflows. Payman is developing the largest vetted database of skilled workers that AI agents can tap into for task completions. Verification of Work: Ensuring that tasks are completed correctly is crucial. Payman is creating a suite of verification agents that will check that work meets task requirements, helping AI agents achieve their goals and ensuring humans are paid fairly. There are tons of use cases that Payman opens up for Agents! Design: Humans add creative input to help Agent's design better products. Code: Humans perform code reviews to ensure it meets specifications. Law: Humans provide insights to gauge public sentiment about legal cases so Agents can make better strategies. Gaming: Agents pay humans to complete real-world tasks in games. Medical: Medical professionals help to improve diagnostic accuracy for Agents. Sales: Humans execute sales strategies developed by AI agents. Marketing: Humans are hired to promote products based on the Agent's strategy. Right now the main paradigm that we think of agents in is chatting back and forth, but the biggest use of tokens will come from agents that are just always on running in the background doing work for us, or ones triggered from a workflow. Agents will be working 24/7 in our workflows processing data, reviewing and generating documents, moving data between systems, writing code, accelerating decision making steps, and more. In Claude's new Managed Agents feature, in a couple minutes you can wire up an agent that can read contracts when they come into Box to review them, and then assign a task in Linear with the critical information from the contract. But this could have been any workflow, like reviewing documents for client onboarding, invoice processing, M&A due-diligence, data extraction pipelines, and millions of other use-cases. And integrating data across any system. This is only possible when you can have long-running agents that can complete real work in the background, accurately. Agents have the ability to execute code safely, leverage tools, access a compute sandbox, and connect across systems is clearly the architecture of the future.
