The first test screening of "Ghostbusters" (1984) was done only 3 weeks after the filming was completed. There were about 200 university students who were raucous. Reitman felt the screening without special effects would reveal if the story and the humour really worked. In the scene where Sigourney Weaver opens the refrigerator, it only displayed "Scene Missing" and had grease pencil marks all over it. The audience groaned during the scenes but they also had a good time. The movie had 90% audience approval even without the special effects. woozi cutting his hair without telling the staff 😭 👤 after the happy burstday promotions ended, about 2 days after was our vcr filming, but on weverse woozi said he cut his hair. i saw the post and was shocked, and then i contacted the management team, and they replied with “he cut a lot”. so the vcr was filmed in the office and many people came by to see his hair

The studio hated Gregory Peck's authentic period mustache in 'The Gunfighter' (1950). In fact, the head of production at Fox, Spyros P. Skouras, was out of town when production began. By the time he got back, so much of the film had been shot that it was too late to order Peck to shave it off and reshoot. After the film did not do well at the box office, Skouras ran into Peck and reportedly said, "That mustache cost us millions." (Source: IMDb) Remembering the great American actor, Gregory Peck, on his 110th birthday!

I hated to see how much he was suffering. The hassle he was getting from some people.”
