Important points raised and we articulated by my colleague Dr Nishikant Dubey Ji in the Lok Sabha: In 2004, the Congress began the precedent of granting Muslim reservation in Andhra Pradesh. Although this was later struck down by the Supreme Court, reservations continue in Congress-ruled states such as Karnataka and Telangana. It must also be remembered that in 2011, the Congress abolished the SC/ST quota in Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia. This is the same Congress that opposed the Mandal Commission report and opposed EWS reservation.
