People say running is bad and that it makes you look old and wastes away your muscle People are dumb That only happens if you run for to long at to high of a heart rate If you run at 130-140 beats per minute with a smile on your face it’s actually some of the best therapy there is If you are running and you can’t smile and it looks like you are in agony and can’t hold a pleasant conversation you are doing it wrong and that’s what will cause you to look old and frail This is called “the sweet spot” folks and it can be used for way more than just running

When will my child understand the concept of privacy? As newborns, babies are highly dependent on their mothers (in particular) for feeding, comfort, and companionship - so much so that many believe they see themselves and their mothers as part of a single inseparable unit. As they grow, it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise then that the concept of privacy - that mom or dad might actually need a moment to themselves to shower or use the bathroom, for example - is one that takes a little getting used to. This is an age where separation anxiety can be very real for many children. And let’s face it, toddlers also require careful supervision, making the need for time apart especially challenging. So how do you get from Point A to Point B, transitioning from full togetherness to brief/safe periods of privacy? The answer is: gradually. Recognize that early in toddlerhood you may need to bring your baby along, even on certain trips to the bathroom to ensure their own safety. Consider these visits opportunities to begin advancing potty training concepts. The gradual introduction of boundaries, however, is something you can begin early, by extending and naming/explaining this courtesy to your child. Start small. Maybe it’s initially just a few seconds of privacy that you provide first to THEM. Rest assured that this period will soon intersect with your toddler’s own growing (and often fierce) sense of independence - and desire to do things for themselves and on their own. I told my 65 year old father NOT TO GO to the Pudgy Pop up! My parents live in NYC, I asked them about the pop-up to see how close it is. Turns out it's 50 minutes and 2 train rides away. I'm not gonna put him through that journey. Saturday night, he calls me up & sends me this video In the video, he says: "This is very very very incredible. So very! It's very beautiful!" I share this to say this is a 65 Yr old man who knows nothing about this world except what I share with him. He went to casually pick up an item & surprise us, waited in line, & got the warmest treatment from the team. Walked out with the Pudgy Bouquet for us and the Pax & Polly keychains for him and my mom (jealous) and stories he could not stop talking about The phone call was literally him just going on and on about the vibe, the staff, the smiles, the people and everything in between. My dad went to his first Pudgy event before I did & I'm happy for it! Thank you Pudgy Penguins for putting a smile on my old man's face and getting him to feel the Pudgy experience IRL. We proliferate one small memorable experience at a time. How are you playing your part?

Been combing through my archives and found this gem. Gov Tom Wolf: So wendy, i'm gunna take my mask off when I speak Rep Wendy Ullman: I will as well, just, im waiting so that we can do a little political theater (laughs). So that it's ON CAMERA. She then points to the microphone and realizes she was being recorded saying that and walks away. This video is the perfect example of how all these political talking heads lie to your face to push an agenda that they know is complete BS. It's unfathomable to me how there are still people who think they did all the COVID and vaccine insanity to protect our health. I still see people from time to time wearing a mask or constantly slathering their hands in toxic hand sanitizer. COVID destroyed the minds of so many people, especially older folks who watch MSM all day.

A HIGH IMPACT Winter Storm could develop late this upcoming week, with the potential to bring Heavy Snow and Ice to parts of the country. 🌨️ The heaviest Snow will likely fall on the north side of this storm Friday - Sunday, wherever it ultimately tracks. As we move through the week, I would not be surprised to see Winter Storm Watches and Warnings issued as it becomes more clear where this storm will setup. ❄️When it comes to exact locations and Snow totals, we are still WAY too far out to pin that down. That said, the most likely SNOW ZONE appears to be somewhere within the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys, though this will almost certainly shift as we get closer. ❄️Elsewhere, the Midwest will see a few rounds of light to moderate Snow Monday through Wednesday as a series of Alberta Clippers pass through. These should be minor systems, generally producing a few inches. ❄️ Boston, NYC, and parts of the Northeast will start the week with a healthy dose of Snow, with 4-5 inches possible by Monday morning. 🏔️ Out West, the Rocky Mountains from Colorado through Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho should pick up significant Mountain Snow, with over a foot possible in higher elevations. 🏔️The Cascades in Washington and Oregon will also see Snowfall, with a few feet possible in favored areas. ❄️The MAIN THING to remember this week: whoever gets hit by the late week Winter Storm could get A LOT of Snow, but there will also be plenty of busts nearby. To Muslims who have seen the footage of Iranians burning mosques over the past days. One point must be made clear. The Islamic Republic is not merely using religion as a political tool. It is using religion as physical cover to carry out mass murder. My friends were present the day the first mosque was burned on Friday. I asked them what exactly they burned, because it was unclear on the video. They anwsered: “A mosque. But they were shooting at people from the inside.” If you believe it is acceptable to use a mosque as a military position to fire on civilians, then my conversation with you ends here. If you do not, then you should stand with the people of Iran, who are fighting a regime that exploits your religion to commit crimes in its name. The late Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, was a devout Muslim. He survived multiple assassination attempts by Islamo-Marxists and other extremists. Those experiences brought him closer to God and to Islam. This may not resonate with everyone, but he remains the single historical figure I admire and respect most, and I will not speak against what he believed in. To my fellow Iranians, please read his book: 'Answer to History'. Today, it is his son, Reza Pahlavi, whom the people have chosen as their leader. Reza Pahlavi seeks internal peace for Iran. But internal peace is impossible without regional peace. A country does not exist in isolation. It is like buying a house, renovating it, and turning it into a beautiful place to live. If the neighbouring houses are crack dens, filled with violence and instability, your house will never truly be safe, nor will it hold its value. Taiwan News: In a sad development the government has announced that one of Taiwan’s most iconic sounds will pass into history this July as garbage trucks will stop playing Beethoven’s “Für Elise” due to copyright infringement. At a press conference Taiwan Garbage Department 台灣垃圾署spokesperson Mr Yu Ren-jie 余仁傑 said “While Für Elise is in the public domain, it appears the specific arrangement of the classic we have been playing is copyrighted.” He said the Dutch trademark agency Shietmark had contacted them and demanded royalty payments for use of the jingle. “While the Dutch graciously offered a low rate of 1 USD per day per garbage truck,” he said, “we have over 5,000 trucks across Taiwan, which would cost us NTD50 million per year.” It turns out that a Dutch tourist by the name of Johann van der Smut had uploaded a clip of the yellow garbage truck playing the tune which brought this infraction to the attention of Shietmark. When contacted about this, Mr Van der Smut was apologetic. “My fahza loves Beethoven and I just wanted to bring a smile to his face,” he cried (at least that’s what we think he said).
