Will listen on a long drive tomorrow. I've always wanted to hear a long discussion on this thought experiment- If you made quarks and leptons the size of earth and we had the tools, time, and protection to dig in and experiment on them, what would you expect to find?

Dude you need to learn some real physics (wave mechanics) rather than getting bogged down in mathematics which is just another tool to model anything and everything even if they are not based in reality

Physics is inconsistent, and the assumption that a region/local space can be isolated from the rest of the universe is just wrong. A coherent model to measure things is an attempt to standardize observations across localities where each observer exist. The past, present and future civilizations have achieves this in various degrees. But Physics cannot explain existence. Anyway, Jacob and everyone were too busy trying to get good marks and did not question what they were being taught as undergraduates:

String Theory is one of the few frameworks that tries to describe Quantum Physics and Gravity in the same mathematical language. In this animation, the glowing loop is the string, the shifting color along it represent its quantum vibration modes, and the surrounding fabric is a proxy for Spacetime responding. When you quantize a string, one of its vibration modes behaves like a graviton. Prof Antony Valentini argues this is a conspiracy: there must be something deeper than quantum, where nonlocality can actually be used to send messages, but it is hidden from view in standard quantum experiments. In this episode of the Quantum Foundations Podcast, Valentini uses Pilot-wave theory to explain the physics of the nonlocal subquantum world. He discusses various ways that the theory could be experimentally tested, by looking for signatures of violations of the Born rule in extreme environments, such as the early universe.
