Here are some more gluten free “biscuit” options. As buns they do ok but as a vehicle for butter, they achieve the highest level of excellence. Each of the three recipes is exactly the same, except the one using powdered milk gets a tablespoon of melted butter. 1 cup of powdered heavy cream, OR powdered goat milk OR powdered milk 1 egg 1 tsp baking powder Bake at 350° on a parchment line sheet tray for 15 to 20 minutes. Each batch will yield two nice sized biscuits. What’s interesting is that each variation gets a different texture. Powdered Heavy cream: slightly sweet, like Hawaiian rolls Powdered Goat milk: a hint of sweetness and more like a biscuit Powdered milk: crumbly like a scone on the outside, but textured like a biscuit on the inside.
