People forget that no one knew what the plot of this movie was until critics finally published their reviews. In the 2 years of filming there was a ton of speculation about the story that was all false, and the trailer gives us nothing to clarify. Perfection.

Feels like a modern trailer. Back in 1999 we still had the voiceover guy, and full rundowns of the plots and characters.

The trailer is the movie Bill thinks he's in vs. the actual film we end up watching.

It starts out seeming like a sexy rom com but then gives way to the horror underneath.

It's funny the song made everyone think this movie was gonna be very erotic but the exact same images set to that one note piano theme totally flips your expectations

Having a Dark Night of the Soul after finding out that my wife gets horny.
