Has Nintendo changed their social media strategy?

Whatever is going on at NoA, thy need to be clearer with communication. The fact that people still think Mario Kart World is $90 and they have never shared the price once on their social media is baffling to me

I'm hearing the $90 USD price for physical copies of Mario Kart repeated from some surprising places. They really aren't doing a good job getting on top of this.

K&K has turned into click bait speculation. You don't work at Nintendo, they won't have to share their strategy with you. This is fucking cringe.

I also noticed they got rid of the “we’re listening” in their bio too

But the Twitter culture has dramatically changed since you were on the Nintendo Social Media team. Who wants to support Musk?

Now that you mentioned it, I remember their account mentioned something that "they're listening to" or something along those lines, but this is the first time I've seen that change

What social media strategy? :)

The good ole head in the sand strategy

It’s pretty obvious why. They’re trying to control the message. Haven’t you ever noticed they always post good news. Whenever bad publicity comes out and it overshadows the bad news? That’s been their tactic for five years now. They’re trying to cool down the outrage.

Everything that’s been happening after the NS2 direct feels odd, people have to do detective level investigation to learn things about the system
